Once again, the weather has been spectacular, and the deals are flowing. Although I really didn't think it would be a good weekend, judging by how badly it started out.  The garage sales on Saturday were terrible, there were a lot of them, but there just wasn't anything at all. I don't think I saw a single video game the entire day.

Saturday Garage Sales

This was the only thing worth taking a picture of from garage sales. It's a cassette tape holder, but they fit Genesis games perfect, so that's what I wanted it for. I have a nice set of drawers but, they won't fit the taller Genesis games, so they'll go in here.
The only other things I bought at garage sales were a couple CDs (Bruce Springsteen and Def Leppard) and got a bunch of empty CD cases for free at the same sale.

Sunday Flea Market

These were from my regular trading guy. I've got nearly all the Nintendo and Sega stuff I want from him, so today I took the Atari stuff. He had a box out front marked $1 each, another box full with a system for $40 and another box in his vehicle. I just picked out the ones I don't have but ended up with a double. I traded him a Mario Kart 64, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, and Super Mario All-Stars.

Right across the aisle from him, I see a SNES games laying in a pile of junk a guy is unloading from his truck. I pick up the game and then notice and couple SNES game boxes in the pile as well. I ask the guy from a price and he says "I don't know, $0.50?" Now, that's what I like to hear. He then says there are cords in the truck as well, but then just looks at me. I had to ask him a couple times to get them. He finally got the cords and a few more games. I ended up offering and paying $5 for it all. I doubt he would have been able to do the math anyway. Super Caesars Palace and Boxing Legends had a little mold on the  boxes, but I think I got them cleaned up.

Found these a little while later, I wasn't really interested in anything in the lot, but asked for a price anyway, she said $5 for it all. As I was paying, I noticed the Hardball III in another box on the ground, I asked if I could take it as well. She agreed since it was of no use to her now anyway. The Baseball manual was in that box as well.

All in all, a spectacular day at the old flea market and a good weekend overall. I'm going to have some kind of new games withdrawal once Autumn sets in and the garage sales and flea market dry up.

Nice finds, it seems like the garage season will just continue into the next one if the weather stays like this. Oh and another Genesis? Tongue How many do you have now?

PS: maybe proofread your intro because there are some typos in it. Smiley

@Sirgin: I think that puts me at 14 total Genesis systems. The only thing in that lot I needed was the Hardball 3 box, but I just couldn't pass up a deal like that.

Typos are what I get for typing that up when I was as tired as I was last night.
