Good news everyone! The weather has broken (for a while at least) and it was reasonably comfortable shopping around the flea market for the first time this year. The place was far from packed, but if its any indication of what is to come, this will be another spectacular year. The flea market has been consistently good so far this year, but garage sales are still very slow. Hopefully, April will bring more stuff (actually since this is so late, I KNOW April will be good ) And I apologize with the tardiness of this post, it should have been up earlier, but with the server move and a really hectic schedule, I didn't have a chance to get it up until now. And to try and maintain consistency, I'll be posting these on Mondays from now on.
The guy I bought this from wasn't set up on the first pass through the market, but luckily spotted him on the second walkthrough. It was $7, more than I wanted to pay, so I offered $5, we agreed on $6. Still a little more than I would pay for a PSX game, but my DP guide lists it as an R5 and it's sealed, so I figured it must be worth the $6. Ultimately, it turns out to be worth what I paid for it.
There's not much to say about this one. The woman wanted $1 for it, I offered $0.50 she accepted it. I would have paid the $1 though, no scratches, fairly clean and no battery corrosion.
I was initially very excited about these as I wanted to upgrade my A/V selector boxes with more high quality stuff. Unfortunately, I wasn't thinking, and didn't realize they were distributor boxes for playing one signal on multiple TVs instead of combining several signals for one TV. Oops! Oh well, these retail for over $200 a piece and I think I can find something fun to do with them if I do keep them. I paid $35 for everything including the 12' 75 ohm component cable.
I got these from a small community fundraiser sale near the flea market. I paid $1 each for them. I had Ford Racing already, but it was loose, so a CIB copy is always welcome.
These SNES games were from fellow RFGen member, Izret101 (awesome trader BTW) I traded him a Genesis 2 and a couple PS1 games for them.
This was from the first successful garage sale of the season (I think the 2nd or 3rd sale of the season). They were split up into two bags and the one had a $10 price sticker on it and the system had a $10 price sticker on it. So I wasn't sure if the games were $10 and the system was an additional $10 or if it was $10 for it all, so I asked the woman running the sale and she said the system was an additional $10. Since I've got Intellivisions coming out the wazoo, I passed on it and grabbed the games instead. So I hand her a ten, and she says it was $10 per bag. She said the other price sticker must have fallen off, I thought about arguing with her but I figured that wouldn't get me anywhere, so I offered $15 for both bags, she came back with $17 which is what I paid. But the idiot woman only gave me $2 in change and then started talking to someone else, but before I had a chance to yell at her, another woman working there handed me another dollar and I was on my way. Of all the games, if I remember right, all but 1 or 2 are complete with manuals and 2 overlays and most are in excellent condition.
These were from the flea market. The seller is a regular with usually high prices, but he doesn't do much in electronics which was good for me. I actually didn't even see this box of stuff on my first pass through, but since there wasn't a lot of people there since it was cool, we walked through twice. I originally just wanted the SNES with hookups and Tetris Attack, but he seemed to really want to sell the whole box instead of piecing it out. And he gave me a price of $15 for the stuff I wanted or $25 for the whole box. And since I didn't have a 6 switch 2600, I figured I might as well pay an extra $10 (and that way I could also look through all the other stuff in the box I didn't recognize). The 2600 was the dustiest system I've ever seen, there was literally, a layer of dust so thick, when I blew the dust off, there was a cloud, but a quick wash in the sink solved that problem. Most of the Atari games are dupes with the exception of a couple variants I'm keeping, the rest are for sale/trade, as well as that Sim City.
These were from Goodwill, it happened to be 1/2 off day and the first time I've seen these, so I picked them up for around $2.40 after tax.
I got these in a trade from a DP member. I sent him a pair of nice working Atari joysticks for these 5 minty CIB PS2 games.
After March's treasures, I have 1,946 total games, 1,573 unique games, and 373 duplicates. Which means I have 10 more total games, 15 more unique games, and 5 less duplicate since my last post. So far, I've spent $26.17 this year ($10.90 this month), but I spent $25.64 this month to ship stuff for trades and I brought in $0.00 from selling stuff, so I'm still ahead $86.85 so far this year. The total spent (amount actually spent on games plus amount spent on shipping) this year, is $104.76.

Mmmmh, Intellivision CIB goodness!
Great to see the Treasure Hunt Chronicles back in action!

nice pick ups You could probably toss those AV boxes up on eBay and make 2x what you payed for them. Those ones are probably from CC they had the same ones when they were going out of business and i saw people grabbing them up for 100$s!

Nice haul, especially the inty stuff.

Good job there, you have far more success than I do, and I work hard at it too. I've found the hunting to be very sparse for the last month, I've barely managed to pick up anything

Very very nice!!!

Can't wait until the snow melts in my area. These Treasure Hunt Chronicles get me salivating to do some hunting of my own.

@Izret101: I probably will end selling one of them, but there were several on eBay so I'm going to wait until all the ones from CC have been sold and the market isn't as flooded before I sell them so I can hopefully get a little more for them. And they are from CC, the guy at the Flea Market came right out and told me they were when I asked if they were.
@Crabmaster2000: What, you don't have garage sales in the snow? A couple times in the past there has been snow on the ground when I've been saling. I find it kind of funny though because people will bring in huge propane heaters for the garage for the sale, but those things are probably eating up any profit they make in the day, so it's pretty much a huge waste of time for them. One sale we went to this year was a moving sale and they didn't have any electricity or heat in the house and they had fire going in the fire place, but they got the wood from a grocery store, and it was obviously super dry and a soft wood, so they weren't getting any good heat out of it, and probably spent the entire days worth of profit on wood that would burn for an hour.
