This was a very slow week for me. I started working out at the county fair on Wednesday to get our building ready for the fair on September 2nd, so I didn't get to a chance to go to the flea market on Thursday or to go garage saling on Friday. Saturday was a slow day as well, but also rather strange as everything I bought was new, but nothing very recent. Sunday's flea market was bad, very little other than the regular vendors, but I did manage to pick up a couple games there.
Sadly, school started today for me, so my treasure hunting will be limited almost entirely to weekends for the rest of the season.

Best Deal of the Week?

Getting poll results. Please wait...

I think the best deal this week is pretty obvious, but what do YOU think was the best one of the week?

Last week's favorite deal was the Black Dreamcast bundle with 61% of the votes.

As of this posting, I have 2,256 total games, 1,873 unique games, and 383 duplicates. Which means I have 16 less total games, 4 more unique games, and 20 less duplicates since the last Treasure Hunt Chronicles installment.

So far, I've spent $673.46 this year ($7.00 this week) on gaming related stuff, and I spent $0.00 this week to ship stuff for trades and I brought in $39.89 from selling stuff, so I am down $209.17 this year. The total spent (amount spent on games plus amount spent on shipping for trades) this year, is $756.11

To sum up this year's stats, I have 334 more total games, 395 more unique games, and 61 less duplicates. And I have a "loss" of $209.17 for the year.

great pickups...you got an awesome deal on that advantage,i paid $20 for mine and it was used LOL

I picked the NES Advantage, but that sealed Ms Pac Man reminded me of the time I got a factory sealed Jungle Book for the Game Gear for £1. That was when I had the best Car Boot Hunt so far!

I have a few sealed Game Gear games that I picked up from Toys R Us years and years ago. It's always fun to find things like that, even if they aren't the least bit valuable.

I picked the Advantage. I've been trying and trying to find one in new/like new condition, but so far it hasn't been easy.

The advantage was a no-brainer. What grade are you going into?

While the boxed Game Gear game was uber cool (how often do you see this in the wild?), I picked the Advantage.  Just getting the box would be cool enough, but having an unused one...

I once came across a nes advantage in similar condition, but the seller was asking $40 or $50 for it, and he told me that it costs $100 in stores.  Some people . . .

Slow weak or not, that new Advantage is still a very sweet pickup, especially for that price!

Good deal on the advantage

I think I paid $2 for my advantage.  It doesn't work though. Tongue

As cool as a sealed game is to find in the wild and at that price, finding sealed hardware is even cooler. Advantage has the advantage!

And so begins the transition to Treasure Hunt Chronicles Generation.
