After several weeks of slow sales and meager finds, I'm finally back into the swing of finding treasure after treasure. The weekend started out pretty slow, but picked up on Saturday and ended amazingly on Sunday.

Best Deal of the Week?

Getting poll results. Please wait...

This is probably going to be another landslide judging by how popular my last CIB NES haul was, but there were a few other really nice deals, so your favorite deal might be something else, so, which deal do YOU think was the best one of the week?

I also wanted to note that if anyone noticed the change in backgrounds of my pictures, it's because they were taken in the new game room! The walls are done being painted and the carpet should be coming in this week. I also finally found a white sheet to use as a background, I've been looking for a cheap one forever, but they're always stained up. I got this one while dumpster diving from what looked like an old lady had died recently and the kids threw everything in a dumpster. They put a "free" sign on the dumpster and some furniture in the driveway so my dad and I got a truckload of stuff from there as well.

As of this posting, I have 2,227 total games, 1,841 unique games, and 386 duplicates. Which means I have 44 more total games, 34 more unique games, and 10 more duplicates since the last Treasure Hunt Chronicle.

So far, I've spent $572.36 this year ($63.75 this week) on gaming related stuff, and I spent $0.00 this week to ship stuff for trades and I brought in $0.00 from selling stuff, so I am down $84.21 this year. The total spent (amount spent on games plus amount spent on shipping for trades) this year, is $655.01

To sum up this year's stats, I have 305 more total games, 363 more unique games, and 58 less duplicates. And I have a "loss" of $147.96 for the year.

Awesome finds! Good to get back to normal eh? When do you think you'll put up a new episode?

I voted for the NES games, but the Space Invaders mirror is a pretty awesome grab. I cant wait to see pics of it in your game room.

Voted for the Space Invaders mirror. It's such a strange item to find in the wild. I'd LOVE to have something like that to decorate my game room.

CIB Nes games for sure.

Best deal = NES games
Best find = Space Invaders Deluxe bezel

Wow, great finds this week!!!

@gamepopper101: You mean a new episode for the "Adventures of moving a game room"? I'm planning on putting one up soon (hopefully in the next couple days) when I have the room completely cleaned out for the new carpet. I'll also include a video tour of Room of Doom 2.5. If you haven't noticed, I've been doing small updates in the comments section of my last blog.

@Crabmaster2000: & @BadEnoughDude: I can't wait to hang it up in the new room. I passed on an arcade marquee a while back (it was like $30 though) and have kind of regretted it ever since, so there was no way I was going to pass up an arcade bezel for $10.

I really want that Space Invaders Plexi.  The one on my cabinet is faded.  This one looks brand new.

@tholly: Yeah, it's in great shape. There are a few spots where the paint is scratched/worn off, but they aren't big and there are just a few of them, and there is a sizeable scratch across the clear part of it. But there is no fading and it even has part of the original "score XXX points, get a free credit" paper that goes behind the plexi.
