I'll keep it short and sweet.
I put in almost 10 hours today and will still probably get bitched out tomorrow when i go into work tomorrow.
I came in a little early to help because the store is swamped with tourists(3 day weekend zOMG!!!) and was asked by the manager to stay an extra hour till the store closed(midnight) so i could help get everything done by a reasonable hour.
Since my coworker decided to spend much of her shift yakking on her cellphone with all her "boyfriends" and another person we work with i made an exacutive decision and left after restocking the coolers which were close to empty again.
Leaving her to sweep, mop, clean everthing, front and face everything, inside trash and all reports.
And i just bet i will once again be the one written up for not staying late enough. I am the only person who gets anyshit about how i do my work and the only person who has been written up in christ knows how long.
But i am the only person who gets everything done when i work aloe, comes in to help with the work load when they need it, and spends more than half my sift actually working.
And yes compared to how much i could have ranted and raved this was short and to the point if not a little scatterbrained and fragmented....

Time for a new job.

Still currently working at a gas station/convienence store.
Since i have today off i am going to try and pick up paper work to fill out so i can get a job as a plumber.
It will pay better have more steady hours and i figured what the hell i've tried every other trade why not.
Plus if i get some more electrical experience i will damn near be able to build houses.

Oh god, I feel so sorry for you. I know what gas stations are like. Managment doesnt care as long as the work gets done, your co-workers dont care if the work gets done as long as they get a pay check, and your not a real team member untill you take it for everyone else. The last gas station was run horribly. Co-workers would come in late, the owners would expect me to drop what I was doing to come in on days I was off because family of theirs that worked at the station would come in drunk, and I'd have to hear about how the register or the safe or the phone box would come up short. I would always tell them to have multiple shift reports to fix the register problem. I even told them to watch the video tapes to learn who kept buying up thousands in lotto tickets each week. Even after all that they still wouldnt do a thing to change. When I'd get sick, they'd expect me to come in dispite. When I had a fevor of 104.9 and the doctor was trying to get me to go to a hospital last year they were upset I wasnt able to come in to work the next day.
Gas station owners tend to be warped. Good luck getting another job, I'm currently trying to find a job sense I quit that hell hole of a gas station last march.
