Went to Gamestation in town, looked round store, looked at cabinet next to counter, and what did I find?

I found the bottom of the cabinet filled with Neo-Geo Pocket games, N64 games, Dreamcast games, a Sega Saturn copy of Guardian Heroes, Sonic 3 and two copies of Sonic CD and Batman Returns for the Mega CD EACH! Apparently the store's basement had a huge stock of retro titles that needed to be gone, so part of them were on display. I got Batman Returns CIB (if I wasn't paying attention I would've gotten one without a manual) for 6.99 and Sonic 3 with Box (no manual) for 9.99.

If you live in/live near/are going to go to the Leamington town and are into games for the systems I mentioned above, have a look. They may be gone soon, I didn't have much of a look at the other titles, but the Neo Geo Pocket there was Metal Slug 1st Mission, Bust a Move (or Bubble Bobble) and Sonic Pocket Adventure. Dreamcast there was a game that was "Evolution" something. Finally for the N64, there was Resident Evil 2, Hydro Thunder and Mystical Ninja.

I also got the spine card to Silpheed (thanks Atticbug!) so I thought I'll show you all of the games with there spine cards!

Congrats on the Mega CD find!

How much were the Neo Geo Pocket games selling for? Not that I can make it over to Gamestation being from a different country and all but it certainly has my interest.

@Cobra:I've forgotten, I remember they used to sell a Neo Geo Pocket Color system for £20, I think the games were either £5 or £10.

£20 for the system is pretty good. I mean sure the thing really needs to be backlit, but on the plus (thanks to it not being lit up) I still have the 1st ever batteries I put in the thing and have played it more than my DS even. Metal Slug & Sonic would be pretty cool games no doubt.

By the way, have you played Batman yet? If not just pop the CD into a CD player, I reckon it has one of the best score for a game of its time. This along with the awesome pursued 3D-vehicle stages all tacked onto the original Mega Drive game was what being a Mega-CD owner was all about.

You should have picked up those N64 titles. They usually go for decent money, like $10-20 over here in the US. I'm not sure about over there though.

@Cobra:Well that's awesome! And yes I play all my Mega CD games and Batman Returns is very good, I guess if I want to go with the crowed it's not Batman for the NES but it's a superb follow up, the animation and the music is great was very good racing stages, haven't played the platform bits though. @blcklblskt:If I still had my Pikachu N64, which I first got Xmas 2001, then maybe getting those N64 games would've been a good idea. But Mystical Ninja and Hydro Thunder were £20, Resident Evil 2 was the cheapest at £3.
