Hey everyone, went to the car boot sale again this morning on Father's day, and don't worry I gave a card and prepared breakfast for my dad. I went there with 15 and I got home with 4 plus this lot.

Let's go into detail then shall we?

Thanks to the advice of NES_Rules, shown in a forum post I made on Haggling, I this was my second and more successful attempt to get the price down. The stickers show these videos were 1 each, but I offered both for 1 and the guy accepted.

This was another successful one, however I didn't make any offer. The lady wanted 2 for this, I accepted because I thought it was okay and she looked like she won't budge, I gave her a one pound coin and before I could give her the second she said thank you and walked to another buyer. So I did the right thing and calmly walk away and stay near incase she realises I only paid half, but she didn't and I walked away with this.

Well every retro gamer needs a copy of or play Street Fighter don't they? I found the price of 2.50 alright so I picked it up. When I was walking away one of the women I bought the game from got her finger caught in her car door because of her friend, ouch.

I was almost tired of seeing Playstation games until I saw this guy's games. He had more, and a six button controller which I would like, and the console itself. I wanted these two and the controller, he wanted to sell everything for a total of 7.50, which is quite good in my opinion but I don't want two of the same system because it is weird. I told him I already have a Mega Drive, so he said I can buy the two games for 1.50 but he couldn't sell the controller. Well maybe next time then.

I don't have a Game Gear, I only got this because it was sealed, if anyone can tell me if this is a proper seal then please. The lady offered 1 which I couldn't say no to. I'll keep this for trading purposes if I see any collectors at the car boot (and in the four weeks I've been going so far, then one) that can accept trades.

Hooray! First Master System find w00t!! I think the stall had six, but they were sports titles. Not only that but when I was looking through the boxes, one of them couldn't open, I didn't want to rip the box but I kid that was also running the stall had to forcibly open it, luckily it wasn't damaged. They offered 3 games for 1 when I just wanted Sonic, so I thought I'll get two more games, pay and leave. All three don't have manuals but HELLO!!! THREE GAMES FOR 1!! When have you seen that? The stall also had a SNES with games and a Playstation (and again if you are a Playstation collector in the UK I'll tell you where it is).

I already own a copy of Sonic & Knuckles, but 1) I don't own the manual and 2) This one had a nicer box but my original one has a better inner packaging. The guy was the collector I think I also saw on the first week I went, he offered 3 and after looking through his Gameboy games I thought why not. I'll mix and match to make a better copy of my game and I'll sell the other one on ebay or something. Also, I told the guy I collect Mega CD games and he said he may have some games to bring next time, so I may get more games for my collection Cheesy

So 9 games and two films for 11. I made my mum proud Smiley

Nice finds!

US game gear boxes look so much better than the horrible grey/sliver ones we got. Nice one on Sonic & Knuckles in cardboard case, people seem to destroy the normal plastic MD cases

@Seno:I never knew it came in a plastic case

Nice finds
