Yesterday I went to a Classic Gaming Convention called Byte Back, which was situated in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, for two reasons.
- I'm a retro gamer so who'd give up a chance like this
- To see if I can find some rare titles to add to my Mega CD Collection
The latter reason is for this saying that I made
The internet is an antique shop, outside that antique shop is a very large island, with treasure hidden deep.
If you aren't sure what it means, it should be that the internet may be a great place to by Retro games but outside the internet something special is somewhere for collectors to grab.
Anyway, before I went I prepared myself and brought some money, this was how much I brought.

After a near 2 hour trip, we had an awesome experience and I've made a video for it in case you want to see it, which will be put in the next blog entry.
But the main thing for this blog is, did I get any Mega CD stuff? Well, yes but not much, sadly there were three stalls selling huge amount of games but two of them had A Mega CD game available. One of them had a broken copy of the Arcade Collection, but the one I got was from the stand from consolepassion.co.uk, which I got Lethal Enforcers with the Justifier gun for 25, not to me that's not bad, but I've seen it cheaper on eBay. Ah well.

One thing I've noticed but no one else has mentioned it is that on the bottom of the Justifier, this is what you'll find

If you have little tech experience, that's an Ethernet port, which is used to connect a modem to a PC for internet access. Why is there one on there? I'm guessing it was to send the data through but it isn't covered up!
Despite that, I got four Mega Drive games, all CIB, 2 of which are mint and great condition for less than 25 (it was 23). The games I got were Sonic 2 (2), Sonic Spinball (3), Micro Machines Turbo Tournament 96 (3) and Gunstar Heroes (15) and yes, I did say it, Gunstar Heroes.

As you can see in the photo, these are all good quality boxes except Sonic Spinball has stickers which would be hard to remove, but not impossible, and Gunstar Heroes has a broken hook used to hang the game up.

Oh one more thing, above is my demo copy of Sensible Soccer. Do you notice anything different or new on it? If you looked carefully then yes, because he was at Byte Back I was able to get this disk using a CD pen, signed by none other than Sensible Soccer creator Jon Hare! Go me!
As this blog is a MEGA CD collectors blog, only the price of Lethal Enforcers will be counted
