The year is 2049 and Humans have left Earth looking to colonize other planets. While gone they have left Orbots behind to clean up pollution and litter for when they return. A high-ranking Orbot becomes insane after accidentally becoming attached to a nuclear missile. He changes his name to Warhead and declares himself ruler of the Earth then begins preparation to exterminate Humans should they return to claim the Earth from him. Enter Vectorman..... Vectorman is a run n' gun/platforming game released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1995. It played in a 2D fashion, but had some stellar 3D graphics for the time. Many considered this game to be Sega's answer to Nintendo's Donkey Kong Country in terms of pushing the system's limitations. Besides your standard run n' gun weapon powerups, Vectorman has a few transformations that are used in various levels. He can morph into a Drill, Bomb, an Aquatic Form, and others that help deal with different obstacles on each level. I'll be joining I've played Vectorman before but not enough to really count for anything.

I'm in the same boat. I remember playing it at a friends house like 12 years ago or so. It'll be nice to revisit this game.
I never played this one at all. If I remember correctly, it came out towards the end of the Genesis lifespan, and by that time I only used my Genesis for Sega CD games and was mostly focusing on SNES. It'll be fun to try this one out.
I never even heard of Vectorman until it was included in the poll.

I sold my copy of Vectorman months ago, I want to play it again
Thats why selling games sucks, just keep them all!!
Crabby can i have all my games back then
I've been debating diving into Vectorman early to get a feel for the game. I'm going to put some more time into Sonic though. My earlier adventure got cut short since naptime ended early for the little man.

I guess I am going to try to track down a copy of SEGA Mega Collection on GCN
@Link41, it's on Sonic Gems Collection, NOT Sonic Mega Collection.
The Sonic Genesis Collection or whatever it's called on PS3 and 360 has it. As for myself? I used to actually own the cart and liked it quite abit, but kinda got into a forced trade with someone. Luckily that forced trade involved me keeping Beyond Oasis, which is a GREAT and far superior game in my opinion.

Count me in!!! Ive run through Vectorman 1 + 2 tons of times and Im always up to do it again!
