This will likely be my last NES game playing update for the year. The last game I was able to cross off my list is probably one that most people could care less about, and that was High Speed. Nothing against pinball sims, but was the NES really able to handle them, let alone such a well known table? It definitely had its flaws, and it was painfully challenging to both launch off the table in a rocket and best the 51 million point highscore, but it wasn't all bad. It was very satisfying to get the multi-ball running, or unlock and hit the extra ball. The most annoying part of the game though was that they didn't even give the option to play just the standard High Speed game. The only way you can play it is with the annoying enemies spawning on the table attacking your ball or flippers and the out of place mini-games in which you leave the table to play another game before being returned back to where you were. It would have been nice to have just a standard version as well as the one included with the game. There is lots of time left in the year to play NES games, but I'm going to give myself a brief hiatus before attempting my 100 in 100 challenge come January 1st. Firstly I'm going to use some of that time to start cleaning contacts on my ever growing pile of NES carts so that come 2013 I'll have no problems playing them. Secondly I'm going to try my hand at expanding my youtube channel by offering up a few different kinds of videos to compliment my gameplay vids. Duke.Togo has already started assisting me in this by helping me upload the Collectorcast episodes there in hopes of expanding our audience ever so slightly. I've also been toying around with the idea of maybe doing some Pick Up videos, Game Room Tours, Reviews, Gaming Retrospects, Let's Plays and just in general getting more involved with the very interesting youtube gaming/collecting community. Any advice or assistance in this would be greatly appreciated. So since I started playing NES games and recording them in October 2011 I've managed to beat 224 different titles. That works out to beating roughly one NES game every second day since then (.50 games per day if I did my math correctly). Not too shabby when you consider some of the time sinks I've played through such as: Bases Loaded, Bases Loaded II, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Ultima: Exodus, Ultima: Quest of the Avatar, Ultima: Warriors of Destiny, Roger Clemens MVP Baseball, etc. Here is the full list of my NES triumphs during that time: Beaten Since Oct.8th /100( click on a title to see the video) Super Mario BrosSuper Mario Bros 2Super Mario Bros 3Mega ManMega Man 2Mega Man 3Mega Man 4Mega Man 5Mega Man 6CastlevaniaAdventures in the Magic KingdomDuck TalesDuck Tales 2Chip 'n Dale Rescue RangersChip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2Felix the CatBugs Bunny Birthday BlowoutRen and Stimpy Show: Buckaroo$Double DragonContraSuper CContra ForcePower BladePower Blade 2Dynowarz: The Destruction of SpondylusMetal StormJourney to SiliusAir FortressTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesBlaster MasterTeenage Mutant Ninja Turltes 2Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3Legendary WingsBreakThruCommandoGuerrilla WarWorld GamesSnoopy's Silly Sports SpectacularCaveman GamesDK ClassicsJawsNinja GaidenWhere's Waldo?Bonk's AdventurePanic RestaurantBubble Bobble 2Dr. MarioBubble BobbleMC KidsBatmanCircus CaperRoller GamesWidgetTiny Toon AdventuresTiny Toon Adventures 2The JetsonsThe Little MermaidMonster in my PocketGremlins 2Kirby's AdventureKickle CubicleKung FuYo! You are the man, Crab! You've not only provided a service (videos of complete playthoughs on actual hardware, which I think you should advertise, by the way), but you've provided a lot of inspiration for people to start and finish summer challenges (something that I think will become more important as RFG grows).

@bombatomba: Wow, thanks for the amazing feedback bomba!!

High Speed was one of my favorite pinball games on the NES, even though I later found out they completely neutered it from the actual table, which I've yet to play.
It's extremely simple to push the score to the limit, as you can time the loop extremely easily, and there's a bug in the physics that can cause your ball to get stuck for prolonged periods of time, bouncing around at the top of the table. However, the mini-games were a pain, and I don't remember the rocket...but it's been a long time.

@Shadow Kisuragi: Yeah the timing to get a couple of the shots became relatively easy after my first few attempts. You are right about the mini-games though, they could be a pain. The Cannon/Plinko tables much more-so than the racing one. I got stalled out on a table on one attempt and later found out that if you hold down the A button to launch the cannon balls it effects the strength of the shot. They were still annoying after that, but at least possible to finish.
I did fun into a few glitches to. One where the ball randomly floated around the table (which you could have a slight impact on by bumping the table), another when after hitting the ball it would drop down into the ball return rather than get shot onto the table, and lastly one where your flipper isn't replaced after getting destroyed by an enemy.

This is impressive. I wonder if you have some kinda record for most Nintendo games beatin and recorded from the original hardware. U need to submit it to guiness book of world records lol
