Greetings everyone,

For those of you that have, what do you remember about the first time you play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? Other than the awesome exchange between Richter and Lord Dracula during the first part of the game. For me at least, its gotta be the very first song of the game "Prologue". I still remember when I heard that for the first time, Holy shit! Talk about a killer way to start one of if not the best Castlevania of all time. For those of you not fortunate enough to have played this classic yet. You can download the game off of PSN or XBL for fairly cheap. Now prepare yourselves for the awesomeness!

Peace,

Roehm21

I have been meaning to download this from XBLA for quite sometime, I should really get around to that.

Its definately one of my favorite PS games. I've never taken the time to appreciate the music much though. This makes me want to replay it and see what I overlooked.

Tons of Mega Man music and now some CastleVan ia? You're a man after my own heart. Keep it up.

Castlevania series has my favorite music, good choice. Although, I have to admit that I never really thought anything of this song, I tend to lean towards the songs with string arangements and bells and whatnot. My favorite in the series is definitely the Condemned Tower music, then probably Tragic Prince.

@Link41: Do it! Your won't regret it.

@Crabmaster2000: Love the music in this game. Out of all the Castlevania games, this game has the most (total) memorable music. At least to me any way.

Now I'm not going to say that I don't appreciate some good string music. But I'm mostly a metal man. Love that raging guitar, but because you mentioned that you gave me a good idea for the future.

Go to this link and check out some sweet "metalized" Castlevania songs:

Scroll down a bit on page two. Good stuff!!

@Roehm21: Heh, I've got nothing against metal as evidenced by my liking of Tragic Prince. I tend to have a think for 'symphonic' songs. Typically this consists of string arrangements and whatnot but something like Tragic Prince is a good example of what I'd consider a 'symphonic' song with rocking guitar. Another good example is 'I'll Face Myself'. It's really hard to explain what I mean. But anyway, yeah I love Castlevania music. Good choice.
