so apparently, i haven't wanted to play much of the games i had set out to do this with...
Picked up MVC3 for 20$ @ KMart (on sale for 40 + 20$ coupon ^_^) and unlocked pretty much everything. still a few challenges left but this list was supposed to be based on story completion and major unlocks....done and done.
Borrowed orange box from a friend so i could play portal...very glad i did. done in one sitting. Worth the play through if you haven't already
as for Beautiful Katamari...a friend gave me back a stack of PS2 games they had borrowed, one of which was We Love Katamari...Seeing it jogged my memory that Xbox has the exclusive BK...checked on gamestops site and didn't find an available copy within 50 miles O_o. happend to look at the digital game downloads on the marketplace and BINGO!!! and for 10$ less that gamestop had it used! Gave me an excuse to pick up all the downloadable levels too ^_^ (total spent on BK with all levels downloaded = 27$....cost of a used copy = 30$)
Been working on Wind Waker now...quite impressed on how goo it is so far.

Since I've seen everyone else posting a "goal sheet" for the summer, thought It'd be nice to set one of my own. Since
I'm at home most of the summer however, I'm gonna make a goal sheet of 20 instead of the usual ten. I'm going to lay out 15 solid titles, leaving 5 spaces for games i will inevitably buy.

Happy Rapture Day! All you remaining sinners can read about how my day went. (mandatory punishment for anyone who didn't directly ascend to heaven today.)
Today, stuck at home with my little 3 year old brother, I decided to finally beat Kung Fu for NES. I've been trying to do this for a while now, and it seems that I always get pulled away (read: girlfriend bought me New Vegas, and lil bro wants to play RC Pro Am all day). That isn't to belittle the difficulty...Kung Fu is a pain. Not hard, but a pain.
The fire-breathing dragons suck, the bugs are a pain, and THE FREAKING MAGICIAN who you can only CROUCH PUNCH! Who am I? Johnny Cage?! Why is punching this guy in the balls the only way to kill him? and Why does his head poof away when you hit him!

even more confusing is the main character's name. WHAT JAPPANEESE KUNG FU MASTER IS NAMED THOMAS! Trains are named Thomas!

Ok enough ranting for now. I've gotta get ready to loot the homes of those who ascended into another world...they won't need their fancy blu-ray player anymore!

Hoping to use the blog space here to keep a record of any of my gaming related finds / completions. If you look at my collection, you'll see a folder marked backlog...all the games i have that haven't been beaten...at least not to my satisfaction. With over 200 unbeaten games, I'd better get to work!
