Last month's SideCast for E3 2016 was a product of our excitement over the event and our first attempt at getting together to discuss something other than our experiences with a game.  Little did we know that something announced at that event would come out of the blue and have such a huge impact on three of our members.  During this SideCast #2, join singlebanana, GrayGhost81, and Fleach, as they discuss the worldly, mobile gaming sensation, Pokemon GO. How have we been progressing through the game in it's first few weeks, what features do we like and which do think need improvement, and what is it that makes some of us (who previously had no love for Pokemon) fans of this AR experience?  So join us as we recount our early efforts to catch 'em all and dissect what it is about this game that has people excited throughout the world.  Is this app merely a fad, or something that could have significant staying power?  Thanks for listening!

Please be sure to subscribe to our feed through one of our media outlets so that you automatically get our new episodes on release. And as always, be sure to rate and write a review of the show on iTunes to help us increase our listenership.

As game collectors, one of the things that crosses our minds on an almost daily basis is "value."  Often, when out hunting for games, systems, toys, etc., we have to weight out the estimated monetary value of a game with amount the seller is asking for it and the amount we are willing to pay for said item.  This is always quite the juggling act, and one in which we are always working toward being the primary beneficiary of the "good deal."  However, when it comes to value, it doesn't mean that we maintain a spreadsheet of what we spent on games, determine what they are currently worth, and adjust monthly as the prices go up.....well....maybe some of you do.  For most of us, games aren't merely a monetary investment, but an investment in something on a grander scale.

I'm sorry (not so sorry) to say that what you are about to hear is not the Illuision of Gaia playthrough podcast that you might have been anticipating.  No worries though, that will be available for your listening pleasure in just a few more days.  In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy this special recording that the guys and I did for E3 2016.  After watching the pressers and some of the trailers surrounding this year's event, the guys and I kept going back and forth texting about games and other things that interested us about the event.  Finally, we just decided, why not just set a time, switch on the mics, and talk candidly about our experience and the releases that we are looking forward to?  We sincerely hope that you enjoy our take on the event and items presented over that week, and if feedback is positive, we may consider more sidecasts like this in the future.  Thanks for listening!
