That or the fact that the back of the "Halo 3 Essentials" DVD case (part of the Legendary Edition) says " The Legendary Edition of Halo 3 is the true collector's edition."
Not that it really matters, I think people have become more interested in the multiplayer. Which is a shame if you think to it. There isn't much you can do to change such a finely-tuned system.
We got 3 Legendaries and 1 "vanilla". One of the Legendary game disks suffered from moisture damage right out of the box. Luckily the manager at our local EB is friendly and helpful. Replaced it at 2am on launch. Dunno what the mood would have been in our house if only 3 of us could have played the co-op campaign instead of all 4 of us.
I don't know if that is a widespread issue or just bad luck.
