My first "issue" began at Aarons rental. For two months somebody's apparently been putting in a half payment when my mom pays on the dryer, and pocketing the other half. Oh, but the manager fixed it because she threatened to return it and he wants her money to damn bad to let that happen. On top of that, her contract was discounted by the only guy there that wasn't a plothole, and now he's gone and they're trying to bump it back up to full price.

Now we come to Mediacom, i switched the cable/internet to my name because it'll save us about $100 a month, no problem. So, I brought the equipment in to exchange it and that's where it begins. First it took about 45min to do because some had put in an order on her account from from Molly somebody we've never heard of and it froze it.

Then when I finally got the equipment home and hooked up the tech support hell to get the internet working began. First nothing would work, I called and after diddling around she told me to call the router company. They didn't do crap because they wanted to either charge me for the call or sell me a new router.

I finally decided to hook my laptop right to the modem with the DSL cable I ran through my basement and up through the floor, and that didn't work either. I proceded to call media-com again. She reset the thing and got it working.

At this point I tried the router again, Eenope, no dice. She proceeded to transfer to transfer to the "Tech Experts" who want $60 just to help me fix my router.

I hung up on them, hardlined my laptop back in to the modem. So now I sit here with no connection on my Xbox360 or desktop until I can get Marks help.

And it was 100+ Degrees the whole damn tim

Shit if thats the worst thing thats happened to you in a day than I'd say life is good. I've had some really bad things happen that would make your day look pleasant. Although admittedly it sucks, if it makes you feel better if I recall my roommate in college had this book which I cant remember the exact name of but I think it was called "Somebodies having a worse day than you are" I really can't remember the exact name of it. It had alot of short stories of REALLY bad things that have ruined peoples day. If you can find it buy it it will make everyday seem sooooo much better. Great to read while you're shitting on the toilet! I'm gonna try to find that book now...

That's def a shitty day but not truly bad. I thought my day was pretty bad until a few hours ago. I woke up this morning and the only thing to eat in the house was 1 hotdog. Payday isn't until Friday so you can imagine my panic. This afternoon I started to feel sickish due to hunger. Decided to go to sleep though I wasn't tired because I couldn't handle staying awake and feeling like that. Woke up to find my husband managed to bring us each home a sandwich from work. Guess his boss let him staff charge it. Mind you, there's nothing to eat atm but I imagine tomorrow we'll get something somehow. See? Not so bad after all.

That truly isn't that bad of a day. Just think of all the children in the world that have not eaten today, or are being tortured by asshole parents. Think of some poor family being shot up by a drive by in a crumby neighborhood. Realize that these things happen to people everyday. Think of that for a moment and you should realize that your bad day would have been the best day for somebody like I described. I know it can be frustrating for sure, but seriously quit freakin' whining.

Haha. Sorry, shitty days happen, we understand. Don't you just hate it when you have one bad thing after another in a short period of time? It happens to the best of us.

Tell me about it. That was more directed at the really new guy though.

Hence why I never responded. I've got my own set of stories to shame people with, but decided not to get into a pissing match about it.

I still do not see a legit reason for "venting". I'm not being mean, but look at it from a different perspective for a moment. Is it really that much of a big deal if your internet is not hooked up for a while?

That's the only problem you find with my day?

We all find bad things in our life, I am one of those weirdos that can say that good things can come out of bad things. They really can... A lesson learned in life.

I've put the pieces there, you put them together. I'm not going to do it for you.
