I was happy to hear that Nintendo will have Achievements up and running for launch. They say they won't force it on developers/publishers...yeah right! Tongue

cool, now we just have to hope their online system will be easy enough for people to actually compare achievements. there were some nintendo games that had things kind of similar to achievements built in, they just weren't publicly available on a profile anywhere. like new super mario bros (DS and Wii) having the golden stars on your file to show that you've beaten the game, if you've done it without luigi assisting in the wii one (haven't played the ds one don't know if it has this), finding all the alternate routes etc.

i used to think achievements/trophies were stupid but they really do add some replayability to games that you otherwise might not have done a second (or third, or fourth) playthrough on.

My wife made me get a cell phone today and I feel so old because I cant make it do what I'm pretty sure its capable of. My much younger brother is coming over tomorrow help me figure it out. I really dont like taking the time to learn new things that dont overly interest me, let alone pay for them.
