watched yesterday....

Wooden Crosses:  Raymond Bernard:  Eclipse Series 4:  The Criterion Collection - (1932) - A-

Reason for score -- i was really really impressed with this one....i would have never known the movie was so old if i was just going off of the movie it self (excellent picture, sound, acting, etc....)

watched tonight....

Disney's The Little Mermaid - 2-Disc Special Edition - Platinum Edition - (1989) - D

Reason for score -- i never really liked this one....but, it's a platinum edition, so i needed to own it....

Disney's Honey, I Shrunk The Kids - (1989) A-

Reason for score -- this movie was too cool for 1989!.....

Watched Disturbia yesterday.
It was funny because i was saying that i would like that disney kid who stars in it (and Transformers) would probably look better with some bad ass scars or burn marks and should get into a fiery car crash.
And low and behold 10 minutes in BAD ASS CAR CRASH.

Anyways it was pretty good.

Rugby World Cup 2007

New Zealand Vs Scotland

20 - 0 (Half Time)

New Zealand aka The All Blacks (Named after their uniform) are playing in light blue and dark blue, Scotland are playing in dark blue and light blue. If New Zealand are playing in different colours to avoid a clash between kits I have no idea why they're wearing the ones they are. It's very hard to tell who is who with their exact opposite kits.

It's not been a good game, partly because I can't tell who has the ball and partly because it's been slow.

Edit: It finished 40 - 0. Here's a picture of the two teams to show what their uniforms were like.

I just watched National Treasure with Nicholas Cage. It was quite enjoyable. Lots of bullshit but it was entertaining.

Edit2: Now I'm watching "The IT Crowd". It's a comedy about some I.T. technicians in an office block. They live in the basement and do nerdy things. It's really funny. As indicated by the smiley I'm about to use. ->  laugh

I bought a TV tuner card for my PC today. Unfortunately I don't have a digital aerial so I can only get three fuzzy analogue channels. Sad

But console games look good on it. Smiley Apart from recording, then there's a 2-10 second delay depending on the recording quality. Screenshots can be taken without recording but it's kind of hard to use a controller and take screenshots at the same time.

Right now I'm watching the children's news.
"What do you think of this fancy new product?"
"I think it's great because it's good."
"It's really really excellent because it's so amazing. I don't think it can be improved in any way."

It's funny hw adults have their little interview phrases like "At the end of the day" and kids have their standard answers like "It's really nice".

I managed to pick up some digital channels on my TV card. It turns out it was a software problem, so it's a good job I persevered instead of just putting it down to not having a working aerial. I've got 55 Freeview channels, about 25 of which are BBC. Tongue It's a good picture but it gets a little jumpy sometimes.

Watching BBC News 24 at the moment.

Shaun The Sheep on CBBC. It's a children's claymation that's actually funny. It's in the style of Wallace and Grommit (Shaun is from "A Close Shave") and it's about a flock of sheep on a farm. There's a farmer and his dog, and a few other animals. No speach other than grunts and gasps.

I think it's the mannerisms that make it.

Watched a flick called Nine Lives last night.  It starred Paris Hilton and a bunch of no names.  The best part was that she was the first one taken out.

Rugby World Cup 2007

New Zealand - 85
Romania - 8

It was quite a good game.

Edit:

Wales - 34
Fiji - 38

This is the try that put Fiji ahead in the last four minutes.
