Just watched the Gophers lose to the Spartans in the Big Ten tourney. It was an entertaining game in the first half, but they fell apart (again) in the second half.

Comic Relief.

It's a telethon on BBC that comes around every two years. The most annoying people from the celebrity world annoyingly pester the audience to donate money in order for them to do annoying performances. Then in between the entertainment slots they show clips of diseased Africans.

I would rather donate money to something that will sort out the problems of Britain. When thousands of British people lost their homes because of floods in 2007, no one gave a shit, scoffed at the insurance companies, then carried on as normal. But African nations, who always have been and always will be poor and corrupt, deserve hundreds of millions of pounds each year in aid in order to buy guns for genocide, and to keep people alive long enough to suffer a bit more than they thought possible before.

So glad that people in other countries feel the same way i do about the same shit happening in my country.
Why would i want to help out people in africa, china, india, whathaveyou when there are still thousands if not millions of people suffering inside our own boarders. Also this number does not count people abusing the welfare system and/or illegals.

When i was in Texas there were people who had Mexican drivers licenses with addresses in Texas for christ sake. And they couldn't speak or understand any english!

Anyways there are law and order reruns on TV now. Earlier i was watching another chick flick Aubs had on. Pretty sure it was Slums of Beverly Hills. But i'm a Cheerleader has one of the same actresses but is WAY funnier.

Saw today....

Disney's The Rescuers - (1977) - C

Reason for score -- old, crappy cartoon...

Taken - (2008) - B+

Reason for score -- pretty action packed, but very predictable....
