I am now hooked on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I had seen part of an episode before and that was not the best introduction to it. If you watch it, I recommend watching it from the beginning so you can get a feel for the show before DeVito shows up in the second season on. I have heard it described as a newer version of Seinfeld. That is somewhat true in that it is very fast paced, but it has extremely bizarre stories, not like a caricature of everyday stuff that Seinfeld was.
I tried watching it during the first season, but hated it.
But once the second season started I kept seeing commercials for it and tried watching it again. I absolutely love it now. I can just never remember it's on, so I haven't seen it since the first few episodes of the newest season.

It is a great show. It is like Seinfeld in that it is breaking new ground on touchy subject matter. It may seem tame now, but when it first aired Seinfeld was very groundbreaking.

Yesterday:

Million Dollar Baby - (2004) - A

--> Great movie. Hillary Swank, Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman play their roles very convincingly.

I nearly got to the end of Futurama Season 3 last night. I now want more Futurama box sets but Amazon and Play have put their prices from £23 and £16 up to £32. Sad Most other places that sell DVDs seem to be even more than that.

Chi's Sweet Home. Cute little anime series about a kitty that gets lost from his mom and found by a family who lets him live in their house. Nothing amazing, but fun to watch. It's kinda different from most anime in that it's a 100 or so episode series, but each episode is 3-4 minutes at the maximum. Definitely check it out if you're in the mood for something light-hearted and cute.

watched today....

Apollo 13 (Laserdisc) - (1995) - B+

Reason for score -- one of those movies that would have been really good, but the A List star that was the lead detracted from the movie....probably would have been a better movie with a no-name actor....

Watched "The Gold Rush" today. It was the 1940's version with a voice over, though.

Last night me and my roomies got drank and watched movies all night with the assumption that school was canceled today. (is)

We watched Taken, Pineapple Express, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Defiance, and for old time's sake Dumb and Dumber.

Those all sound like films that would be absolute trash unless you were drunk.

Pretty much, Dumb and Dumber and Pineapple express are all right, Zack and Miri is a solid meh; and I fell asleep during Defiance. Taken was rubbish.
