So I watched BBC2 again yesterday, saw:

- Top Gear (with Jeremy Clarkson)
- show-I-forgot-the-name-off with a British chef that entered a classic car rally through Italy with a £1,000,000 '48 Maserati and it broke down after 100miles.LOL
- Have I Got News For You (with guest-host Jeremy Clarkson)
- Never Mind The Buzzcocks (with guest-host Jeremy Clarkson....starting to see a pattern here?)

Then I saw another episode of Keeping Up Appearances, but on a Belgian channel.

Today I saw:

Family Business - (1989) - C

--> Nothing special.

Curious Case of B. B. was actually disappointing. I'll give it that it's very well made, but it was about as deep as the kiddie pool. It was like Forest Gump without a soul; pretty, but not profound.

The Real Italian Job: Mille Miglia

He bought the car for £650,000 then spent £200,000 on spare parts, life insurance, entry into the rally etc. The newly rebuilt engine broke after 120 miles.

Was that the Vietnam episode you watched? I thought it was better than Top Gear has been recently.

Thanks for the title. Smiley

Yeah, I may have exaggerated a bit on the price, but taking into account all costs it was like £850,000-900,000 so I wasn't too far off. They did say that the car would be worth £1,000,000 if it finished the race. I don't get why that is....does driving it for 1000miles suddenly make it worth much more?

And yup, the Vietnam episode. I thought it was great too. Somehow Top Gear has become much less about cars and much more about those 3 guys goofing around, but it doesn't bother me one bit.

In keeping with my trend of getting back into anime, Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, a hilarious serious about an emo teacher who has no hope for the world and tries to kill himself.
