Watched the special features on Fear and Loathing. Such an interesting guy, wrote himself up to be something he wasn't, and didn't ever get over that.

Wall E

I didn't realise until I watched it that it's a big advert to brainwash kids about global warming, loosely hidden behind a story of love between two completely different robots.

I thought it was fairly decent, nonetheless.

One of the trailers on the Wall E DVD was for some magical turd a Chinese kid found in a lake. This turd taught the kid how to steal and sneak his way into movies. I thought it was a spoof, especially with a line something like "It was you all along! You did it yourself!" The Magic Gourd, or something.

Yesterday and today....

JFK: Special Edition Director's Cut: The Ultimate Oliver Stone Collection - (1991) - A

Reason for score -- got to be a little long (205 minutes), but it was great and kept my attention more or less the entire time....

Born On The Fourth Of July: Special Edition: The Ultimate Oliver Stone Collection - (1989) - A

Reason for score -- good movie....tom cruise wasn't too out there back then...

Nixon: Director's Cut: The Ultimate Oliver Stone Collection - (1995) - B+

Reason for score -- really really drawn out (212 minutes)....definitely way too much extra stuff put in there that the movie could have done without....decent, but not amazing....
