Yesterday I saw:

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
- (2006) - B-

--> Entertaining but I found the story a bit too shallow, even for this type of movie.

I finished rewatching Gurren Lagann last night. God, what an incredible anime.

Tell you the truth, I had a hard time liking it myself, too. So little happens. The camera angles are often nice, though. But I still feel it didn't live up to all the hype.

Independance Day - (1996) - B

--> Not nearly as exciting as "Enemy of the State" or Will Smith's more recent movies but his performance still stands out.

I like to see Independence Day Getting some love. After all, it is an end-of-the-world film, so it automatically gets a A+++ even if it sucks. (Core comes to mind... Tongue )

God, how can one make such a horrible movie.

I still have nightmares about the rediculous plot.
