Area 407 - LAME. Plan crashes people are attacked by an unknown thing
Spoiler (hover to show)
. Feels like a SciFi movie

Redemption - Statham flick. He hooks up with a russian nun.

Restrepo - Cameraman following a deployment in Korangal Valley Afghanistan. Also had interviews post deployment spliced in. Excellent.

Severe Clear - Marine took his camera on deployment during Operation Iraqi Liberation. Much gorier footage than in Restrepo but i liked that film better.

Battle Royale 2 - Liked the first one better.

Catching up on the latest batch of Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe.

Also caught both the English-language and Japanese versions of the first episode of Kirby Right Back At Ya! As usual, the original is a bit better than the westernized version. In either case, it's surprisingly good kidvid viewing.

Seeing as how I'm a total cheapass, I just catch it on Youtube. Both versions.

And I'm ashamed to admit it, but the theme song is quite catchy.

Watched most of the Futurama series while grinding Ascend over the last few days. Going to wrap that up.

Seems we watch the same movies Anthony.

Battle Royale was much better than its sequel.
Area 407 I had a passing interest in because 407 is the Orlando area.
Rubber was very slow, but definitely had its moments. Still a pain to sit through.

I saw Assault on Titan showed on Netflix today. Looks really interesting, 25 episode anime series. I might toss that on. Chrome Shelled Regios was pretty good, and this feels like a similar vibe.

On season 5 of the Sopranos with the girlthang. Been watching Olympics here and there. I want to watch Lillyhammer after we're done with the Sopranos, but everyone keeps raving about House of Cards, so might do that next.
