--> Movie about Queen Victoria. She seems very cold-hearted towards her children in this one.

The Red Baron - (2008) - B+

--> Interesting movie about the WWI German flying ace Manfred von Richthofen.

The Cheyenne Social Club - (1970) - B-

--> Silly comedy about a cowboy who inherits his brother's brothel.

Wilde - (1997) - A

--> Great biographical movie about (part of) the life of Oscar Wilde. Great soundtrack. The main theme stuck in my head for a couple days after watching this movie.

Requiem for a Dream - (2000) - A

-> Drugs are bad.

I picked up part 1 and 2 of The Dark Knight Returns, and watched them back to back.  I thought they were both excellent and definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of Batman.

I just watched the first few episodes of "Deception" and I'm loving it. I like prime time, "soapy" dramas with big, convoluted storylines. "Revenge" is currently one of my other favourites to watch and I find that "Deception" is quite similar.

Watched the first part of the animated Dark Knight Returns...SO GOOD

Watched part two of this...brought tears to my eyes in a few places. It's weird. The comic made such an impression on me as a youngin, and this version totally does it justice. To see the pages brought to life so faithfully and ardently was just amazing.

And yes, I guess I am turning into an emotional vagina in my old age.

BTW I still get misty whenever I watch Snoopy Come Home. Which is way more fem than crying to Batman cartoons. Looks like I'm gonna need some Kotex myself...
