The Cable Guy (Laserdisc) - (1996) - C-

Reason for score -- Jim tried way too hard on this one....

Dragonheart (Laserdisc) - (1996) - D

Reason for score -- Connery should not have been picked to voice act a dragon....he was terrible....

I was expecting a trashy horror but it was better than I thought it would be. It's more of a thriller than a gruesome horror.

The bit where he thought he was out went on for too long. I had a feeling that wasn't the end but it went on for so long that I thought it was the end, which would have been very, very rubbish. Luckily it did end up back in the room.

the weekend laserdisc bonanza will soon be coming to a close.....

Executive Decision (Laserdisc) - (1996) - B

Reason for score -- i know planes can hook-up mid air....but, these 2 planes...a little far fetched....give me a break....

Star Trek VII: Generations (Laserdisc) - (1994) - B

Reason for score -- i haven't seen the other ones or the show, so i have no comparison....as a stand alone movie, it was okay...

Total Recall (Laserdisc) - (1992) - C

Reason for score -- can arnie only play one role / emotion

I was always more Star Wars than Star Trek, but I am opening to seeing them at some point.

I wanted to watch the new Top Gear episode on BBC2 but I missed it because they aired it at 8PM instead of 9PM (Local time)  evilsad
When I turned on the TV I saw like the last 2min with May in Los Angelos, and then it was over. Sad

So I watched the UK Championship Snooker final with Shaun Murphy vs. Marco Fu. I was cheering for Marco (I'm always for the underdog) but Murphy won in the end.

Then I saw Have I Got News For You, with Jeremy Clarkson hosting the episode. It was only 30min though, that's rather short.

Yep, it was an all-BBC2 night - Belgium channels were airing nonsense.

I hate not getting BBC in America. I think you can order it if you have cable or satellite, but of course, we don't. Angry

In Belgium we get BBC1, BBC2 and BBC World (the last one only for 12hours per day - it's sharing a channel with "Arte") on the regular cable. Smiley

But don't you get like 300+ channels in the U.S. when you have cable?

Yea, we get an ungodly amount of channels....but, if you remove all the pay per view channels, all the music channels, and all the repeats (ie, only count SD & HD versions of a channel as 1) it is a lot less.....still a ton though...

Mad Men. I can't get enough of this show.

Also watched The Family Man this past weekend. I really enjoy that movie a lot, as much as I hate to admit it.

Yeah, that's still pretty nice. Our cable only gives about 35 channels. Sad

How much does the cable cost over there?
