I tried to pick up a Game Boy Pocket with a few games yesterday off of kijiji for $25. The woman said that someone just beat me by a couple minutes, but she would get back to me if it didn't work out. She let me know they picked it up. I checked kijiji again and the jackass thought bought it had listed what he just picked up, within an hour, and was asking for twice as much. It doesn't usually bother me when people flip things, (and I probably would have kept one item and flipped the rest), but this one got under my skin for some reason. Grrrrr.......

I just discovered this thief who compounds the issue by lying about where the "proceeds" are going:

I can't believe that Friday the 13th costs more than Dr. Mario.

I don't mind people who flip things either, but it's more classy to do so on another site as to not make it obvious to the seller that you might have gotten one over on them. I resale games I pick up on CL on gaming sites or eBay, but with pinball machines, I'll resell them on CL though I also bought them from there after I've done a ton of work on them, not hours later. There's a big difference.

After reading my Atari blog posts, I'm sure some of you might be interested in this ultra rare Atari 2600 Vader. Such a steal for this thing and no controllers. Seller is sure someone got sum though.

Oh wait.......I just found something to top it.  Want an easy $20, simply trade in just one of your hundreds/thounds dollar games.  He played them all growing up.  Wow Charlotte, NC, there are some winners in that area.

I sent him a text and told him not to screw himself over on that copy of Superman and that he needed to revise his listing to "Superman" - yellow text Tele-Games Sears edition." Wink
