How does that happen? I'd have thought that came from the database of console names, which has it correctly spelt.

It happens because this value is stored in separate tables, even though that makes no sense, and your DB Director made a typo. Fixed.

The extra media section still shows a link to an image which has since been moved.  Cannot delete from edit info form.

This is another one of those things that are broken that aren't in the DB. I'll ask Bickman as I have no idea where this data is pulling from.

Holy crap, Shadow helped me figure out this extra media stuff. There are some old entries that are stored in a separate text file that has to be edited. Nuts. I'll get these fixed.

The variation title was changed to "Nintendo Version", but the year and box image are for the BANDAI version.

No details were changed. I added the photo today.

It’s a Nintendo version as opposed to a Mattel version. NES was originally released as a Mattel version in UK, Italy and Australia (hence PAL A). Consoles said Mattel Version on the cartridge slot and Mattel handled distribution.

Mattel very quickly stopped distribution in the UK. Consoles changed to saying NES Version on the cartridge flap.

Bandai presumably were distributing after Mattel, but their input was much more subtle.

I have issue  with the term, "Nintendo Version" as this version wasn't distributed by Nintendo (Nintendo UK didn't exist until 1993)-- the term, "Nintendo Version" is used in the DB to indicate that Nintendo is the distributor (as compared to the Mattel Version or THE Games Version).  

If the entry is using the term, "Nintendo Version" when it really means "NES Version" (which is what's printed on the console itself) then this should probably be changed.

Not showing me the field for setting compatible platforms under submit info for some reason. Also need Cassette enabled as a media type.

Cassette media type added. Not sure what you mean for compatible platforms.
