Oh here's a good one. Downloadable content that should not be DC. A great example would be Fallout 3's 'updates'. Should have just had that as the level cap to begin with and so on. It's absolutely lazy of the developers/money grubbing.

Hmm.. I have a list:

1. Any game I get motion sickness from but want to play badly. All Katamari titles and most newer FPS fall into this category Sad

2. Unsupervised children, racist pigs, ignorant assholes that start shit when they see my Canadian flag avatar, and people just looking for a date on Xbox Live. Wow I think that just coved a good 90% of the population...lol

3. All female clans and groups - I find them to be sexist. Any time I run into some members they always shoot me clan invites with long explainations of their rules. Most groups of this type fall more into a sorority category and not a clan category. Most also talk so much shit and suck so bad... Groups/clans like this are the reason chicks like me get harassed online :/

4. Games that lack storyline or have a story that just plain sucks.

5. Lack of good JRPGS for Xbox 360 and Wii.

6. Games that lack decent gameplay in favor of flashy graphics. I say watch the movie or play the game. Don't play the damn movie!

He means Downloadable content that should actually be Downloadable content (DC). A lot of content is either a money grab by denying gamers what should have been included in the game in the first place, poorly imagined, overpriced tidbits or they charge you to unlock content they included on the disc when you bought it so your paying $5-10 for an unlock code nothing more.

Yeah that's what I meant. I just find it ridiculous that companies do this crap.

 I edited my post now.

Going to a car boot sale, a place where people flog their worthless crap for almost no money, and being told "They go for this much on eBay." They may as well bring some Daum glass and say "It goes for £2,500 at a Bonhams auction." They may well do, but they're unlikely to get that at a car boot sale. If they want eBay prices, sell it on eBay then deal with postage and fees.

I think the worst was someone selling "An original Atari" with no power cable and peeling labels for £25.

My God, I run into that all the time.  Who the hell pays $10 for an Atari 2600 junky looking Combat cart?  No one in their right mind.  Another irritation I'm getting lately is the huge price increases I'm seeing at Goodwill and Salvation Army stores.  Five bucks for a loose Atari 2600 cart?  Twenty for a boxed SNES sports game that looks and smells like it was dropped in the toilet?  What the hell happened to the 50 cent prices from just a few years ago?  Even record albums are still 10 and 25 cents.

And yeah, escort missions suck, especially when the person/thing you are escorting runs as slow as a snail and usually right into the line of fire.

"Specialty" shops that don't necessarily specialize in video games, but sell them because of their trendy following. There was a shop here in Portland that Sara and I went to a couple of weeks ago. They had lots of interesting items - lots of classic action figures and memorabilia - in addition to a few video games. The prices were absurd: a complete Atari 7800 for $245, a complete 2600 for $185, an Atari Trackball controller for $85, and a small stack of complete NES games, none for less than $30. It's such a turn off for me to find things like this. It's the way a lot of the "hunting" has gone so far in Portland unfortunately. The city is almost annoyingly trendy.

This kind of unrelated, but your post reminded me of it. I really hate when places like Goodwill refuse to drop the price on merchandise that does not sell. My Goodwill "sells" VHS tapes for $3 each, and they have an entire aisle of the damn things, stacked 2-3 rows deep. It's almost like Blockbuster dumped an entire store on them. But do they lower the price? Of course not. It's not like they paid anything for them, all they are is a waste of space. The thrift next door doesn't have thousands of them, but that's because they sell them for a more reasonable $1 each, you would think Goodwill would follow suit, but they don't.

It sounds like you guys are evolving towards prices that are sort of the "standard" over here. People over here always think they're sitting on a pile of gold. It's so annoying when you look at a PS1 game, ask they price, they say €10 or something like that. Then you look inside and see the manual's missing and the disk heavily scratched.
Or this guy that was asking €5 for a copy of GT2 with a broken jewel case, the manual and first disk missing. I wish I was telling a lie but I'm not. Undecided

Anyway, it's a real shame, because prices over there were fantastic.
