I loved the first two but I never finished the second one because I got very stuck on a hard part and I refuse to lower the difficulty.

If I had money to spend, I would get a PS3 for God Of War 3.

I started part 1, but never finished it. 2 is still in the shrinkwrap. And I have yet to repair/clean my PS2 before I can play anything on it.

If it's in a console bundle and costs under $200 total I'll have to consider it. Cool

Nice trailer, was hoping for some actual gameplay footage though. This cinematic eye candy crap never gives you an impression of the game itself.

What makes you think it's not gameplay footage? I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it was.

Considering the PS3 is £300 and Sony are saying they have no intention to lower the price, I don't think that will happen any time soon. Sad

That's ok. With my current backlog of games and with what's coming out this year for the 360, I'm perfectly content to wait for quite a long time before getting another console. Cool

What makes you think it's not gameplay footage? I honestly wouldn't be shocked if it was.

Because it's a scripted trailer. If the gameplay has cameras like that jumping all over the place, no one would play it because for a gamer, it would be a confusing mess of camera angles. It was scripted for dramatic effect as most trailers are. The dark jello globs representing blood are a good indication of it's incomplete state as well. Every game does this. I guarantee they won't jump from 1st to third, side to side, up and down all over the place like that. It's supposed to get you excited, they'll save the gameplay footage for later.

In-game footage and game engine trailers aren't the same thing at all. You'll know it's in-game when the character stays in the center of the screen and the camera looks like something you can work with. When that happens, you'll get a different feeling for the game and the intended effect which hopefully will be better than a 2 minute trailer.

Awesome! Cheesy

Like James, I still need to finish GoW2. I played it a lot during 3-4 days, got stuck, and never returned. Now I fear I have forgotten the controls and would have to start over. Undecided

I agree with Tan that it isn't actual gameplay footage. It looks like a trailer made from the game engine and not CGI, so I expect the actual gameplay to look equally well, if not better. Cheesy

I haven't even tried GoW2 yet. I went from 1 to Chains of Olympus on the PSP. I think the only reason I have 2 right now is because I knew if I didn't get it then, I'd have a helluva time finding a non-Greatest hits version down the road. Tongue

I liked the gameplay of 2 more than 1. The fight with the fates was an amazing boss fight. The story though, is inane, they take Greek mythology and piss all over it.

EBGames website has it with a release date of March 2010. Is that right? If so, the bundle idea I mentioned earlier could come to pass...Cool
