games problem

Hey gang,
I've got this old zenith tv from the 80's, a Zenith Space Command hahaha, and I'm trying to play some games on it. My master system, turbografx, and nes work well on it, but my genesis II and snes have this weird screen-jump thing going on. It kinda looks like you're shaking the tv around.
Oh yeah, I'm using rf, no composite vid.
any ideas? thanks guys

Are you using different RF adapters, or more than one jack?

I am pretty sure when i was younger i had the problem of SNES not working thru my Genny adapter.
Or vice versa...
Have you tried just swapping the arrangement?
Or moving from channel 3 to 4(or vice versa.. again)

Maybe daisy-chaining it is causing signal degradation? You should try a coax splitter instead like this:

or this

You can find them just about anywhere for a buck or two. Swap the order so the Master/TG16/NES are in the place of the SNES/Genesis and see if it does the same thing.

could try that
the genny or the snes plugged in on their own still flicker, though. It's quite a nauseating flicker, too, i'm getting dizzy haha

Found this on another forum:

It may be the TV Brand itself.

Try each one seperate and see if the problem still ocours. If not, it's from too many hook ups. If it does, try different cables. If not, it was the cables. If it still happens, I'm at a loss if they work on other TV sets without the same problem. Chances are though it's too many hooked up at the same time. I'd recomend only hooking up the system you currently plan to play. Sure, you'll have to spend a whole 2-3 minutes hooking up another system when you want to play it but you'll avoid the headache of multi systems.

yeh, i've done some more looking into it and it seems that zenith hardware from this era is notorious for not being able to handle some older video game systems.
No biggie, I have other tv's in my house to play these one. This particular one was just in a convenient location.
