I know there was an adaptor released to let you use a Game Genie in  an NES Top Loader. My question is, is there a way to mod a regular Game Genie to work in the top loader? Thanks to anyone who knows!

I did a bit of looking around.
It seems that someone was able to get a game genie working in their toploader but it was at an angle.
I saw one reference to a "rare converter" that allowed the game genie to work with it.

What about taking off the plastic housing to the game genie?

thats what i was thinking. in similar fashion to the gyromite ocnverters, just pulling out the innards and using it, it should work for all intents and purposes. I just dont want to ruin it if its not going to work.

That and it will be way more likely to mess up from slight shakes.
