Checked the internet this morning and saw that there was a retro-gaming-fair in a city 35 kilometers from here, the same city where a friend and I were planning to visit someone today. So when we got there I brought up the idea to check this retro-gaming-fair. So said, so done. We were all three in the mood to check it out.

The entrance-fee started as a pain in the ass, which was 8 euros. But for those 8 euros you could also visit the museum where the event was held.

Everybody there had lots and lots of NES games, at insane prices starting from 5 euro s a piece.
People where asking crazy prices for all of their equipment, 40 for a Snes, 50 for Metal Gear for the Msx, Phantasy Star 2 including hint book for 70, dont let me start about the Neo Geo games. And all these prices are in euros, not dollars. What the hell where they thinking? Do they really think a collector would pop up and will pay that much? Suckers.

Anyway I ended up at one boot and grabbed some cheap games.

Stealth ATF NES
Days of thunder NES
Crackout NES
Defender of the crown+manual NES
Turtles 2 manual, 3 dust sleves and a plastic Nintendo case

After that we turned our backs to the fair and visited the museum.

Pretty good weekend for finds.
First garage sale of the day yesterday had this

Very yellow SNES with AC, A/V plugs
2 controllers
SMW
DKC1 & 2
Pilotwings
All for $5, she was asking $7.

The next sale was even better.

Jungle green N64 with AC, A/V cables
Green controller
Red High Frequency controller
Expansion Pak
EA Sports Memory card (not in the picture)
DK64
Super Mario 64 (with manual)
WWF Attitude
Beetle Adventure Racing
Mission: Impossible
Mario Kart 64
Mario Party 2 (CIB)
1080 Snowboarding manual & trick guide
All for $10, she was asking $15.

All the garage sales after those two had nothing, I should have just quit after them.

The flea market was decent today.  The very first table I walked by had a stack of PS1 and Saturngames.  None of the PS1 games looked interesting, but I bought all the Saturn games.

$10 for them all, he wanted $2 a piece.

I'm not really sure why I bought this, I guess because it was only a quarter.

Yesterday I went to a flea market, a few garage sales, a couple of pawn shops and 2 different GameStops.

For all of my work, I came home with an official PS2 8MB memory card.

Thats it. 3 hours, $8 and one memory card.

Stupid St. Paul.

I found at a thrift shop for $2 Carmen Sandiago for NES with box and the Encyclopedia.  Sweet deal.  I've heard it is hard to find with the Encyclopedia.  Too bad no manual. Sad
