I almost don't believe that you can have such good luck with garage sales. I never find squat.

you have to connect the sega cd to a genesis and turn it on before you can eject cd's. About those 3DO games too if you really don't want em how about you trade them to me? Cheesy

Is there a button that I'm not seeing? Or is it supposed to open automatically when powered on?

I'm going to keep the 3DO games because I know as soon as I'd get rid of them, I'd find a system with no games.

I know, I am very lucky when it comes to finding stuff in the wild.  But I think it's because no one else in my area is interested in this stuff.  I was at a garage sale today that I went to 2 weeks ago and they had a Genesis 3 with 15-20 games for $20 and no one had purchased it.  The only bad thing is, I have a really tough time selling stuff locally.  So I end up with hundreds of common games that I can't do much with.

Just put together decent 15-20 game lots on eBay. People gobble them up like crazy.

If the market is there for it, no reason not to take advantage of it right? That's about the extent to which I have used my economics degree.. *sigh*

I think the buttons are to the right of the cd tray there. Not sure though, I've only seen a CD1 once and they wanted a higher price than I was willing to pay

Going from memory of the Mega CD 1, when you turn the Genesis on it should come up with the boot screen where you press A on the controller to open the tray. But it's been a while and I've got my Mega CD 2 hooked up now so I can't check. There aren't any buttons on the console, just lights. I might have a look later.

Edit: I just checked and you have to press Reset on the Genesis to open the tray.

To get the CD1 open, you have to push the reset button on the Genesis when the system is powered on. There are no buttons. At least there aren't any on mine...

Thanks, it was The Adventures of Batman and Robin inside and amazingly the disc looks brand new.  I figured it'd be scratched from being inside the system for so long.

Picked up Ikaruga today for the Gamecube. Surprisingly, I didn't even have to look that hard. I decided this morning that I wanted to play a new shooter, and had the game by this afternoon. Paid $40 for it and it is in like new condition.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS?!?!?!?!?!?

I was just glowing over NES_Rules recent Electronic Quarterback find and waxing nostalgic when what do I find on my next hunting trip?

you guessed it!!!!!

the thing was mint in the box. I seriously doubt it had ever been played. $3!

my other nice score for the weekend was a Coleco Telstar Arcade. It's missing 2 of the cartridges and it looks like a controller for the 4 player pong games. It also has some cosmetic damage but it does work perfectly. for $4 bucks I had to snag it.
