Trash picking? Damn! Where do you trash pick to get such a find?

One of the most addictive games I've ever played was on an Atari 800 computer a college roommate of mine had... M.U.L.E.

I was walking the dog and it was in a trash can in front of a house about 8 houses down from mine. it was like 5:30 in the morning so I snagged that sucker.

a similar occurence is what started my record collecting binge.

Picked this stuff from discount bins at Walmart

Super Pinball
Super Basketball
Super Soccer
Space Intruder
Super Racing

I thought i grabbed one of each of these little LCD games but i think i missed Super Football. Based on part numbers i think there could be at least 4 more of them(which includes Super Football)

I was at another walmart a couple nights ago.
I didn't see super football but all of the LCDs they had were a different color/design than the ones i bought.
I ended up finding Super Skateboarding though.

I want to get all of these crappy little 1$ games!!!

The guy I bought them from said he has a bunch of them at home still.  I'm planning on picking them all up if he brings more again. They look brand new too, you would never guess they are 27 years old Wink

Picked up a FC TWIN today from Slackers. I cashed in some of my credit slips.

The NES slot is a little tight. But otherwise a great system.

I inherited a 4th Generation iPod from my sister today. It's broken, obviously. So I took the plunge and bought a cheap battery on ebay. Let's hope it doesn't blow up in my pocket.

Edit: I Googled "ipod fix" and found a site with a few tips. The first one was how to reset it. I tried that and it turned on so I looked through all my sister's rubbish music. Then the battery died. It's plugged in now but I don't think it's charging.

I think garage sale/flea market season is coming to an end for this year. Sad  This is all I found this weekend.

The PS2 controller was $1
The "I Heart Pac-Man" pin was $0.25
The Pac-Man handheld was $0.50
(I don't know what's with all the Pac-Man stuff I've been finding lately, I don't really even like the game that much laugh)
The Dave Mirra game was also $0.50

On a side not, I did find something great while looking through trash on Friday.  About 50 pounds of copper wire.  At about $2.50 per pound it'll be an easy $100, after I strip off the insulation.

I picked up Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for $14 at EB.

Almost picked up a non greatest hits version of Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 for the PS2, but the bastards slipped in a GH disc and I had to take it back. They didn't have an original version disc to match the case either.  grrr
