I picked up a 27" TV in the trash.  The best part is that's new enough to have RCA jacks and S-video, so I can finally upgrade from coaxial.   Cool

My original plan was to just smash it, but just for the hell of it, I plugged it in to see of it worked.  Sure enough, it came on and the picture looks perfect.  The only thing wrong with it, is that the cover that covers the buttons in the front doesn't close.

I went out hunting with Den on Sunday and picked up quite a few things.  They finally bumped me over the 1500 games mark!

At a flea market I got:

Cyber Speedway - Saturn (CIB)
Myst - Saturn (CIB)
Impact Racing - Saturn (CIB)
Solar Eclipse - Saturn (CIB)
Heavy Nova - Genesis (CIB)
Dynamite Headdy - Genesis (CIB)
Vectorman 2 - Genesis (boxed)
Cadash - Genesis (CIB)
Pochahantas - GB (loose)
Escape from Devil Island - LCD handheld (loose)

After that we stopped by a Gamerush and picked through the clearance bins.  I got:

Odama - Gamecube (Brand new)
ESPN College Hoops 2k5 - Xbox (Brand new)

then we hit up Gamestop for thier B2G1 sale:

Grabbed by the Ghoulies - Xbox (CIB)
Beyond Good and Evil - Xbox (CIB)
Voodoo Vince - Xbox (CIB)

We were going to hit another Gamestop, but I spent too much money already so we called it a day.  If garage sales are good to me this year, I might have to drastically redo my gameroom to fit everything.  I'm rapidly running out of room!

You're my hero. Vanilla Ice RULES! I can't believe that there is another SERIOUS Vanilla Ice fan on this site. The special edition DVD should be called "Cool As Ice: Drop That Zero Edition".

I love it when giving things a good smack fixes them. I recently repaired the fan in my car that way.

Just got a Wide Boy for the N64 in.  It is a cool little device for playing GBA games on your N64 and was only sold to developers or magazine companies for the cool price of $1,400 US bucks.  On the plus side, I got mine for $55 shipped.

$1.99 each for the Genesis games; there were a few more there, all sports titles tho so I will wait until Monday for them to be 50% off.

Silpheed was $3.99,  and CART Fury was $5.

Stopped at a couple pawn shops on way home from work.. stock was 99% the same as the last time I visited them, but I did pick up a Zelda: Ocarina of Time (w/OoT Master Quest) CIB for Gamecube for $18. They were firm on price (offered them $14), and it was more than I really wanted to spend on it, but I didn't want to go home empty handed. Scoping out the eBay market for the game, it was a fair price. They generally sell for a bit more than that, plus shipping of course.
