SNES Exertainment Mountain Bike Rally in Box for $1.06

A local video store had it for sale $1.00 plus tax which made it $1.06. It doesn't have the instructions because the lady doesn't know where the instructions are kept for the games they are selling. The box is still in the plastic it was just opened on the left side to get the game out. Also it looks like no one ever rented the game. It is in great shape. which brings me to my question. What do you use to clean sticker glue off of games? I use rubbing alcohol is there something better?

Not that anyone wants to see some crappy pics of this game, but you can if you want...........

Well this isn't exactly the find of the century, but I picked up a Nintendo 64 today for $3. It has the power cord and the av cable but no controllers. Also it has the memory expansion pack which I somehow forgot to look for until after I bought it, so I kinda lucked out there.

I did have a quick question about it though: As I don't have any N64 games I simply turned the console on to check it out. Only a red light came on on the front of the box and some light flickering on the tv. Is that what is supposed to happen when you turn it on without a game? I was kinda think'n there would be some sort of screen which would pop up or something.

Nope, that's exactly what the N64 does. If a game is dirty, it will do the same thing. This is a great system and congrats on the excellent price! I recommend  looking at pawn shops to see if they have any spare controllers, I'm sure you can pick one up for 5 bucks or so.

I went to Maplin to get a DIN plug for my Mega Drive and while I was in the area I thought I would pop into Gamestation. I got 6 boxed games for £6.

Master System:
Land of Illusion (complete)
Vigilante

Mega Drive:
Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
Speedball 2
Last Battle
Rolo to the Rescue. I'm pretty sure this is the Genesis version, which, according to DP, is an R6 and worth $20 complete.

The manager said they would be having loads of Mega Drive and Master System cartridges for something like 20p each next week. They've got loads in the store room and they can't get rid of them. I usually only collect boxed MD and SMS games, but for that price it's worth a look.

My Amazon games came today. Not bad seeing as they were sent yesterday 2nd class.

New Super Mario Bros for DS and Liberty City Stories for PS2.

Mario Bros was £25 and LCS was £15. But I used a £5 voucher and got £5 back from a game I ordered a while ago, so it came out to £29. Cheesy

I've played about an hour of LCS and it seems great. It's GTA3 with Vice City gameplay. I've heard it's not a good conversion from the PSP version but I can't comment on that. So far it seems like the good old GTA made fresh and new. GTA:SA was too different from 3 and Vice City and I felt it lost some of the charm. For £15 it's a good game.
