Holy goodness!  I got that Carmen Sandiego SNES game shortly after it came out for a baby tooth that I had a particularly difficult time with.  I could never get anywhere in that game...I ended up selling it before I started collecting.  As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I still have the pack-in dictionary/encyclopedia somewhere.

Picked up some game based comics
.5$ each
Lara Croft Tomb Raider Issue 29
Mortal Kombat U.S. Special Forces
Turko Dinosaur Hunter Issues 2
Turko Dinosaur Hunter Issue 3

I only went thru 2 of 8(or 10) crates so i might go back tomorrow and see if i can turn up anything else.
Turok Dino Hunter 1 and more MK ones would be pretty cool Smiley

I've had some thrift store success today and yesterday

Genesis Bubsy, Bubsy II , Zombies Ate my Neighbors, & Toki all complete except Bubsy II which was missing the manual for $2.48 each

2600 Towering Inferno (CIB), Astroblast (CIB) Word Zapper, Laser Gate - Text Label, Fathom - Text Label, Cosmic Ark - Text Label, Star Voyager - Text Label, Moonsweeper - Text Label,  & Mogul Maniac (all loose except noted) for 99 cents each

Handhelds Tomy Hit & Missle & Caprice Pro Action Baseball for $1.48 and Tiger Biker Mice from Mars with manual for 99 cents

With these and some games I got in a trade with Tynstar and some I purchased from Jibbajaba I now have over 1600 titles listed.  I just hit 1500 at the end of October, that was a quick 100 games!!

I found a Leap Frog Leapster yesterday. It's an educational handheld system. These things are pretty new, I was surprised to see one in a thrift. I only paid $7 bucks for it. It's got a few minor scratches but functions perfectly. It had one cart with it, LEarning with LEap.

My daughter played with it for about 2 hours last night. I'll have to go out and see about getting some more carts.

Meijer carries those things and has quite a big selection of games for them.  Nice find.

a friend of mine won an Xbox 360 from Mt. Dew.  They also sent him several t-shirts and ball caps.  I got one of each from him.  The hat is pretty cool, plus it's free.

A guy at my brothers work has won for of them. I just found out he cheated to do it. I guess there was a program you could use to enter 1,00's of codes in minutes. What an ass hole.

He won't hook my brother up with a deal on one either. He said they where worth too much on EBay and my bro said ok. My bro said the kid is a starving college student. I said he should blackmail his ass and get 2 360's for 500. LOL

Smiley

Today I went to this huge indoor flea market nearby and got a load of good stuff for good prices Smiley  Totally unexpected, as this is the same flea market where I went exactly 6 months ago and found nothing but a cheap loose Famiclone.  Today I found the following:

Philips CDi player with all hookups, controller, CIB Light gun, about 10 games....3 euro

Sega MegaDrive, all hookups, one controller, one arcade stick, and four CIB games (including one Genesis game)...12,50 euro (these were all packaged as a present as well Wink)

Philips Videopac G7400 with all hookups, 2 controllers, and with 7 games (6 CIB), mostly rare and valuable Videopac+ games...12,50 euro

NES Zinger joystick loose...2 euro

Super Mario World Game Chair 1993.....2,50 euro!!

11 NES games, about half complete, half loose...including some nice pal-exclusives....30 euro

Atari 2600 Gemini System + 18 or 19 games with many manuals + loose pong console....5 euro

MIB Commodore 64 Microsystem....7 euro

NES with all hookups, 2 controllers, zapper, and 7 loose games....15 euro

2 loose NES games and 2 complete games including Tecmo Cup Football Game (Spanish exclusive)....15 euro

Snake's Revenge loose...4 euro

and that's basically it I think...best flea market run I've had up to now, and this had to happen the first time that I decided to go by bus...so I ended up having to call a cab to get this shit to a safe spot Wink
