I found a bag of 32 NES games at a local thrift today. They were all loose but most had the slip cases. The bag was marked $29.99 but a sign on the showcase said "all Showcase Items 50% Off". WOO HOO $15 bucks! So, for less than 50 cents each I got:

SMB/ Duck Hunt  x2
Wrecking Crew
Skate or Die 2
T&C Surf Designs
Journey to Silius
Pac-Mania
Bubble Bobble
Bucky O'Hare
Metal Mech
Ghost's n Goblins
NES Play Action Football
Isolated Warrior
Monopoly
Xevious
Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom
Marble Madness  x2
Zanac
Donkey Kong 3
Paperboy
Karate Champ
Phantom Fighter
Jaws
Anticipation
Star Tropics  x2
Wheel of Fortune
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Vegas Dream
Mega Man 6
Arkista's Ring

I picked up 13 magazines (Nintendo Power, Tips and Tricks, etc) for .39 each.  I also found a couple of books based on the game "Roller Coaster Tycoon".  I don't know what's worse, the fact that they made these books, or that I now own them!!

Nice finds, everyone.  I'd be especially pumped about Zaxxon's Motherbase and the Sega CD games tholly got.  I have the box for Consulting Detective but no game, if I remember right.  No idea how the box survived but not the game (got it at a yard sale of all places).

@bum-man - When you say that you found books based on Roller Coaster Tycoon, do you mean that they are fictional novels?!  If so, that truly is amazing.  I might have to find some and buy them for TraderJake.  He has an unhealthy and rather suspicious obsession with those games.

Yeah they are kids fiction books, I left them in the car but I think the one was number 3 and the other had no number (I would guess it to be 1).  So I need at least one more to complete my set :-/

FYI  I am hanging on the the T&T and NP mags for now, if I end up dumping them you guys will be the first to know.

That was a great NES game! Too bad they didn't make a current-gen version.

but a very BAD cartoon.

Today I stopped in a dollar store and got a bunch of PC games.

Seven Kingdoms II The Fryhtan Wars
Grand Prix Evolution
Five-A-Side Football
Toon Golf
Lightweight Ninja
Minigolf The Game
Mouse in a Stew

they had a bunch of others that required a Pentium III, this free PC of my wifes only has a Celeron. *sigh*

Went to Blockbuster and got "Pokemon: For Ho-Oh The Bells Toll!" and "Pokemon: Johto Photo Finish" GBA Videos for $13.  This is the price I've been looking for for these things.  $20 was way too high of a starting price for something like this.

pretty thin day again games wise. I did find a few complete Intellivision games for 95 cents each.

Demon Attack
Triple Action
Boxing
Bowling

and a complete Intellivoice module for $1.91

also:

PS1 Demo, Hot Shots Golf 2 - 99 cents

Book - Halo: First Strike - 25 cents. how big a dork would I be if I actually read this?

Super Mario Bros. Print World - complete - $1.50. this is one of those card/banner/invitation deals with characters from the Super Mario games. it came with both 5.25" and 3.5" disks. it's fpr IBM compatables.
