Got a couple of things from garage sales over the weekend.

PGA Tour '98 complete(PSX)
Kurt Warner's Arena Football sealed (PSX)
Gameboy carrying case (only 10 cents baby!)
Radica Snowboarder game
Donkey Kong Country and F-Zero instruction manuals
And a sweet Sonic stuffed animal

I passed on a bunch of handhelds that were a tad overpriced.

I finally found a Dreamcast, now I just hope it works.  Found it in a local thrift store for $14 so the price was right.   I already have all the cables and controllers at home so I should be set.

Also found my first Captain Power - Future Force Training: Skill Level 1 for 99 cents and a large stuffed pokemon character of some kind for 79 cents

I picked up an interesting game yesterday. It's called Voyager and it's made by TI.  It a headset that takes cartridges.  I haven't tried it out but it looks like you interact with it by talking into a microphone.  I got it boxed with two cartridges (Space and Dinosaurs) for $3.

Here's one listed on ebay to show what it looks like:

Just had my first Garage Sale find of the season.  I picked up a TI99 Expansion unit, 18 game cartridges w/ Manual & 6 extra manuals all for $40.  That makes me a happy camper.  I have been looking for an expansion unit for a while, it would have cost me that much in shipping if I got one on ebay.

that Voyager thing is an interesting looking gadget. let's hear about it once you test it.

today was pretty uneventful but I did find a few small things.

Halo strategy guide - $3
Legend of Zelda kids book - 20 cents
Mia Hamm Soccer and Michael Vick Football LCD handhelds - 50 cents
Computer Warriors VHS, sealed - $1

my daughter made out like a bandit though, she came home with 13 new books and another Scooby Doo video

I had a nice little weekend.  Nothing outstanding, but I got a lot of little stuff.  First off I got 9 or so of those little sonic and ESPN sports handhelds that McDonalds was giving out a while ago for 10 cents a piece.  I also got 3 mario dolls, and two Mario Kart Advanced toys that Wendys was giving out fot a while for 10 cents a piece.

I went to a huge garage sale that was actually more like a flea market and picked up:
Gargoyles Night Flight Tiger Handheld
Ultima Exodus - NES loose
Heroes of the Lance - NES loose
Golden Axe - Genesis complete
Pokemon Yellow - loose
WWF Attitude - GBC loose
Darkstone - PSX complete
Zap! - a coleco handheld

I also got three 80's metal Tapes that were $1 a piece:
Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation
Lynch Mob - Lynch Mob
Anthrax - Persistence of Time

All of this for a little under $13.  I listened to the tapes while I was playing the handhelds I got, and when my girlfriend came home, the only thing she could do was shake her head as she muttered "you dork" under her breath.  Quiet honey, not while Lynch Mob is on.

I just picked up my second Captain Power, I got Shattered Past for $1.  I also pick up another Amiga 500 system that came with a bunch of CIB games for $20.  Add these to the lot of A500 games I picked up last week and I have added 25 CIB Amiga games to my collection in the last 5 days

Yeah, I was there 10 minutes before it opened.  I was determined to find something on Saturday.  There was a Game Gear with two games for $20 that I was thinking about buying and a bunch of X-box demo discs for $1 but I left them there.
