I'm surprised they let you keep the case without being frisked or something. For all they know, you could have the disc in your pocket.
Yeah, no kidding. But it's not like I'm going to see Snatcher for $2.99 and say "Let's see if I can't steal this and get out cheap!"

Yeah, $2.99 is close enough to stealing it

I was gonna kiss the lady looking at toasters behind me, but then I felt like flipping the bookshelf over and busting out a few windows.

I went to Game Stop today to pick up more games for buy 2, get 1 free. But when I brought my stack of 9 games to the counter, I learned it was over
But, I had a 20% off coupon, so I used it on the following (all CIB for GC)
Billy Hatcher
True Crime
Need for Speed Underground
came out to like $4 each.

Fred Meyer put a bunch of games on clearance for $2. The only interesting game in the lot is Raw Danger, which is pretty cool, otherwise I got Spider-Man 3 (PS2), Def Jam Icon (360), and Superman Returns (360).
They had a couple other games, like one of the PS2 Pirates of the Caribbean. Nothing fantastic.
They also had two of the Mega Man Star Force games for DS for $10 each, with an additional 20% off. Didn't pick those up because the Battle Network series got crappy fast.

I found a console that doesn't seem to be in the database!
I went to a park to walk the dogs today and just happened to catch the end of a car boot sale. I got all this for £3.
Prinztronic Tournament VC6000 with six boxed games in VGC. Some of them have instructions and some have controller overlays.
I need to test it now and see what kind of games they are. I bet they're all a variation on Pong.

It turns out the cartridge slot pins have been mangled very badly, so it doesn't work. I tried bending them back up but some of them snapped off.
It does power on, though. I'm not sure if I can be bothered putting much effort into fixing it.
Just remember - "Last used 30 years ago" most likely means "Last
working
