I picked up Spore Creatures on the DS for £12, new and sealed. Morrisons are having a special on top chart games. All chart DS games are £12. Everywhere else is over £25, so £12 for a game released just a few days ago is pretty good.

It's not too bad so far but the tutorial is dragging it a bit.
That's a great price, if I could get it for half price I'd probably pick it up.

Morrisons are also including Guitar Hero On Tour in their chart for £12. It's normally around £30-35. Unfortunately I didn't notice any on the shelf, so maybe someone else got to them. I wouldn't normally have bothered with it but for the special price it's worth a go.

I go on another forum which has a bargain section, so I found out about it there. It didn't take long for a few For Sale threads to pop up with games from the Morrisons list "new and sealed", being sold at full RRP. The rules there don't allow profiteering so someone quickly pointed out that they were on special. I hate people who buy things that are on special just to sell them on. It's ok with old games but not in this case.

I bought the id Super Pack on Steam this past weekend when they had it on sale for $35. The pack includes:

http://www.steampowered.c...b&SubId=440&cc=US

Quake III Arena, Wolfenstein 3D, Ultimate DOOM, Final DOOM, DOOM II, QUAKE, QUAKE II, QUAKE II Mission Pack: The Reckoning, QUAKE II Mission Pack: Ground Zero, QUAKE III: Team Arena, HeXen, HeXen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders, Spear of Destiny, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, QUAKE Mission Pack 2: Dissolution of Eternity, QUAKE Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon, DOOM 3, HeXen II, DOOM 3 Resurrection of Evil, Master Levels for Doom II,  and Commander Keen.

I figured it out and it only cost $1.60 per game. Now that's a whole lot of bang for the buck.

Now look at my list of games on Steam  after buying this:

Very nice!!! Smiley

It really is a lot of content for the money for sure. Only thing I don't like about having your games as downloads is that they only exist on your PC.

Ah, but the cool thing about Steam is that you can back up the games you buy onto an external hard drive, a disc, or any physical medium. Likewise, you can restore your backup files and import them back into Steam without the need to redownload the game again. That's digital distribution done right, my friends.

I didn't know that. That's really cool actually. I've got Steam on my PC with a few games on it but hardly play on it.

The reason I don't like downloadable games because they feel so "temporary" to me. Like you can "have" them one day but they can be gone the next.

Picked up something I'm very excited about yesterday:

Vagrant Story (Guide)(Good condition)
Elite Beat Agents (DS)(CIB)
Radiata Stories (PS2)(CIB)
and my favorite item.....
A box full of about 120 N64 boxes, manuals, posters, other inserts, and plastic game bags.

All items only cost me $45 total!!!
After skimming through the N64 boxes last night there is only about 15-20 that are sports games and probably less than 10 that are doubles. There were quite a few ones that I currently needed to complete some games and many more on my "to buy in the future" list.
Unfortanutley I'm still not able to complete a few games like Ogre Battle 64 and Clayfighters: Sculptors Cut but I'm really psyched about all those boxes.

Mega Man Collection - XBOX (CIB) - $7
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance - NGC (CIB) - $5
Metal Arms - NGC (CIB) - $5
Naruto Clash of the Ninja 2 - NGC - $1
                   Sega Saturn Games all CIB:
Shining Wisdom
Norse by Norsewest

Sonic 3D Blast
Black Dawn
Soviet Strike
Tomb Raider
P.T.O. II

The Saturn games where priced at $2 a piece but he gave them to me for $20 even.

I know some of the Saturn games are valuable but are any of them worth playing?
