You almost have to visit them daily.....can be a pain but worth it in the end.....

Or just form relationships with people. Then you can make those trips far less frequently

I haven't had the time or the money to go out lately, but a few weeks ago I managed to go to a flea market. The only things I got were:
Game and Watch collection (GB) complete
Super Mario Bros. 2 glass
Pac-Man glass
I can't remember how much everything was, but it wasn't more than $5 a piece.

How exactly are you guys scoring these deals? Is this thrift shops, flea markets, garage sales.....tell me the secret!
I work at a thrift shop so I am there almost everyday and I have craigslist on my computer setup to refresh once a minute for new postings.

Okay, so I haven't officially scored these yet, but I've been talking to my friend and he's ok with giving them up. We just need to arrange I time I can run over and grab them.
All Genesis games, cart only:
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 3 (might not work, I'm gonna have a look at it)
Vectorman
possibly Vectorman 2 if he can find it
Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Price: free.

Interesting stuff:
Monochrome Nightmares
(self-made games)
Exploding Jellyfish
(self-made music)

True, I stopped at a Thrift last week that I hadn't been to in a few weeks. Right when I walked in the girl at the register told me she had something for me. She proceeded to pull out three Gameboy games from the drawer under the register. So I got Tetris Plus, Ultima: Runes of Virtue II, and Wave Race for 99 cents each just because the people there knew me.

I always wonder why people bother selling so much stuff for such a low price at garage/yard sales. They may as well put it all on a table in their front garden with a sign saying "Free Crap".
Not saying the Master System was crap, because it wasn't.
"Crap" meaning stuff they don't want.
Ok, so not everyone knows it's worth something but surely they realised it's worth more than 50p!
