Bought Super Paper Mario today, paid retail which I haven't done in a long time, but I really needed a real Wii game to play.

During the downtime I picked up:

Mission: Impossible (NES, loose) - $4
Dr. Chaos (NES, loose) - $4
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (NES, loose) - $5
Super Smash Bros. Melee (GC, new) - $15

Target had a decent sized rack of closeout games. SSBM happened to be one of them (Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door was also $10, but I had it). Not a bad deal. I almost went back and picked up a couple more for selling/trading purposes, but I never got around to going back. I'm sure they are gone by now.

I had a nice CraigsList pickup today.  Here's what I got:

XBox w/
Power cord
A/V cable
two controllers
DVD remote
Custom cable to attach USB Keyboard
Mechassault CIB

(Non-Gaming Stuff)
Apple Green iMac Keyboard and Mouse (Can be used with the XBox if Linux in installed)
Sun SparcStation LX
Sun SparcStation 10
Sun SparcStation 5
Sun Ultra 1

All for $20

On the way home from picking it up I stopped at a Flea Market but my only find was a 2600 Planet Patrol cart for $1

Hit up a few rummage sales today. Here is my haul.

Atari 400 w/hookups and tape player

4 misc controllers highlight being a TRON stick

5 carts
River Raid
Missile Command
Star Raiders
Galaxian
BASIC
and a few misc tapes.

All for $5

I really only wanted the TRON stick, so I will probably see off the rest.

Next stop:

Max Payne 2 for PS2 complete $1

Next stop:

Colecovision Space Fury $5

Overpaid for this one cause I thought I didn't have it yet. Turns out I do so in the trade bin it goes.

Last stop:

James Bond 007 (Genesis) complete $3.99
Adventures of Kid Kleets (SNES) loose R7 $5.99

Not a bad day.

I got a great Genesis haul today at a garage sale!!

Sega Stuff:

Sonic 2 Genesis System (with box, manual and hookups)
7 Genesis controllers (3 Sega pads and 4 3rd party)
Maximum Carnage (cart only)
Space Harrier II (cart only)
Spiderman/X-men Arcade's Revenge (cart only)
Earthworm Jim (cart only)
Earthworm Jim 2 (cart only)
Sonic & Knuckles (cart only)
Mortal Kombat (cart only)
World Series Baseball (with box and manual)
Jurassic Park (with box and manual)
Sonic 2 (with box and manual)
Streets of Rage (with box and manual)
6 - Pak [shinobi, sonic, golden axe, columns, streets of rage and i forget the last game] (with box and manual)
Tony La Russa Baseball (with box, manual and stat cards for all the teams)

NES Stuff:

NES Action Set (with box and manual)
NES Max Controller
Mario 3 (cart only)
Mario/Duck hunt (cart only)

SNES Stuff:

Super Advantage Controller
Super Link
Champ Controller

The box had "$50 for everything" written on it but I only had $44 with me. The guy ended up giving it to me for and even $40 so I was thrilled. Everything was in great condition including the system boxes. His son put his name on the backs of the carts with masking tape so it was easy to peel off and most carts only need a very minor cleaning. Im quite happy with this find!!

I could never figure out why people did this. What is the point of putting it on, if it comes off so easily?

Daaaaaaaamn. Nice find, friend. Good start to the summer Smiley

It was the 13th garage sale we had been to in about a 3 hour period. My wife is expecting a baby any day now and wasnt feeling so good after I dragged her to 12 other sales without buying anything. I promised this would be the last one we went to today. Definately a good start to the summer!!! I was getting discouraged after 12 sales with nothing to offer.
