It's not a game, but I picked up The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters yesterday for $20.  It's a documentary, that is supposed to be in the same vein as Trekkies, based on the competition for the all time high score for Donkey Kong.  It sounds awesome Smiley

My friend IMed me yesterday raving about this. I had heard of it a few times before on the local KFAN show Video Games Weekly, but I haven't gotten around to seeing it. I will bump it to the top of my Netflix list.

Found some good stuff over the last few days.

4 arcade cabinets w/boards/monitors/missing buttons or guns. FREE
All of these came from a carwash that was throwing them away. I happened to see one of them sitting next to the dumpster. The next day I rolled in and they said I could have it, and that they had three more in the garage. They even helped me load them on my truck. I'll take pictures when the weather is better.  I'm going to frankenstein all the cabinets into one or two good ones.

Road Riot 4wd Monitor bad, cab ok, board looks good
Commando Monitor bad, cab ok, board looks good, missing buttons
Area 51 Monitor looks good, cab good, board looks mint, missing guns
Revolution X Monitor looks good, Cab Ok, missing board, missing guns

Just got back from goodwill and picked up Altered Beast, Golden Axe and Two Crude Dudes for $3 a piece, the boxed GB Game Genie for $5 and the strategy guide for $1.50. I already own the guide but it's the bound (hardback) one. The only reason I bought Two Crude Dudes was because some reason I thought it was the game Bad Dudes while seeing it...and I thought that I had to save the president from ninjas.

I also wanted to post a picture of the aquaman game the bought for $5 the other day because it's such an awesome game!!! Smiley Also, the 99 cent Mortal Kombat video too.

Picked up Fahrenheit the other day. Disc had apparently been raped by a gang of big, big men. They were nasty Sad

Luckily, I got it replaced. And then I smiled Smiley)

I picked up at Walmart a Game N Go DS Kit which has 3 stylus's, a DS Lite pouch and the game Elite Beat Agents for $15 on clearance!!!  They want $30 for EBA alone but for $15 you can get the whole kit.  Go figure!!  I also broke down bought Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. With the sale at TRU it was too good to pass up.  Than my wife got me Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the DS for Valentine's Day!!

Well I picked up my biggest score of '08 so far.

Nintendo NES (system only but works and looks great)
Atari 2600 (4 switch) with one controller and set of paddles
Atari 2600 Kid's Controller in the box
35 assorted 2600 games all with instructions and about half the boxes
3 extra atari power cords
A Vectrex system!  In great shape with Rip Off game and overlay.
Everything was $120.  The Vectrex is my first "oddball" system and I really like it alot.  I see why there is such a cult following.  Anyway I couldn't be happier!
