Nice find on Othello. I'm a pretty big fan of the game, so if you want to get rid of it let me know!

I got in contact with two old store inventories and managed to get my hands on some NES accessory goodness.  Especially at this point in my collection, it's tough to find new stuff, so I was really pleased when both packages containing this stuff arrived at the same time!!

I've got those Super Controllers. I remember when I first got my NES I had trouble using the d-pad. Everything I'd ever played to that point (Atari, C-64) used a joystick. Going from the big Atari joystick to that tiny little d-pad was baffling. Getting that little snap on joystick was a godsend.

Being that I just got a new DS, I figured that I needed to go out and pick up a few games.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
New Super Mario Bros.
Contra 4
Tales of Phantasia (Advance)

The great thing about it was I got ToP from the discount rack for $11.99. When I checked out, the cashier scanned it twice and never scanned NSMB so essentially, I got it for $11.99 (and all 4 games for less than $100). Hey, when you don't have a job, every little bit counts Smiley

You lucky son of a bitch!  Were they all complete or what?

My weekend hauls weren't nearly as impressive, but I almost have a complete collection for a system now.  I got these at TRU:

Mattel HyperScan system with Xmen game $20
Ben 10 game $10
Interstellar Wrestling League game $10
Marvel Heroes game $10
IWL Booster pack $3
Xmen booster pack $3

The only thing I need to have a complete collection of HyperScan stuff now is the Spiderman game, booster packs for Marvel Heroes, Ben 10, and Spiderman, a seperate controller, and the two player bundle pack.  I can probably get all that for under $50.  This of course doesn't include getting the full collection of cards which is an entirely different matter all together.

Well here's what I got as I swung by the outdoor flea market yesterday:

Aerobiz and Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest for the SNES.

Skelteton Warriors for the Sega Saturn. I never watched the cartoon in 1994 seeing as I was already a junior in high school and was probably more interested in sleeping in on Saturday mornings. Still, this is a pretty cool game with a lot of dark and spooky themes and artwork.

Skelteton Warriors also came stuffed with these extra manuals. May be worth keeping if I happen to find Fighting Vipers without the instructions some day.

I also got this SNES Cleaning Kit for $2.00. I have always wanted one for some reason. The box is a little tattered, but it seems pretty complete, otherwise. The cleaning wands and cards are pretty much spotless.

The grand total for this one-hour spree was $12.00 (plus $2.00 for parking). And I also got to enjoy a Mexican imported Coca-Cola in the glass bottle. It's better because it uses sugar instead of high fructose corn sweeteners!
