 about 6 months ago, i managed to pick up a Sega Master System 2, with all leads, one controller, a light phaser, and 15 boxed games for £6... best bargain of my life...

last night I score an old handheld. Entex Football 3 - $2.92.  I also found a neat little paperback called "The Pocket Calculator Game Book" - 25 cents. Iposted a pic of it the main forum.

You got some nice finds there!  Especially the Super 8 CIB for 15$!  Those sell for quite a lot nowadays.

I love Illusion of Gaia...even though I'm major stuck on the second boss.  :-/

Anyone got any tips?  It's the flying red bird thing that shoots blue fireballs (I think...it's been a while since I've played it), if anyone's familiar with this game.

@ Tholly: That SNES is way prettier than mine (By which I mean it doesn't have that nasty off-yellow color.).  Does it work?  If so, good find!

Zork was a pretty sweet game.
Being text based i am sure you could easily miss alot more of the game than in a game with visuals.
