I was driving around the other day, and noticed a thrift store that I never knew about, so I went in, and checked it out. Weird place...  they had random items put into these little clear baggies, and had them all oddly priced at like $1.84, $1.37, ect, and to my surprise, they had ALOT of gaming items, so of course bought it all. All of the games were cartridge only, and a few of them looked like they'd been through Nam, but at these prices, who gives a shit?   ...Here's the list.

Bag #1 - Two SNES controllers and a Genesis 3-button controller for $1.58.

Bag #2 - Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Killer Instinct, ESPN National Hockey Night, NCAA Basketball, Final Fight, for the SNES for $1.84.

Bag #3 - Tetris, Hogan's Alley, Golf, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt for the NES and a stack of about 10 old Apple floppy disks for $1.38.

Bag #4 - The New Tetris, Mario Kart 64, Castlevania 64, Blast Corps, and Pokemon Snap for $2.24

Bag #5 - Chakan, NHL All-Star Hockey '95, Hard Drivin', NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, Primal Rage, Sonic 2, for the Genesis, and Virtua Fighter and WrestleMania: The Arcade Game for the 32X for $1.74.

Then I ran across a shoe box that had a Genesis, 32X, and two AC Adapters for $5.00, so I grabbed it up, and go to pay for all of this shit, and they have a glass counter near the register full of VHS tapes, and stuck in the mix was a factory sealed Super Monaco GP for the Genesis, that still had the $49.99 price tag on it...  got it for $5.00. It all rung up at $21 and some change...   I'll damn sure be frequenting that place from now on.

Nice finds!

Near me the controller would of been 3-5 bucks each and the games would of been 5-10 each.

Yeah, just about the same prices here in NC, accept that I hardly ever find any Official SNES controllers around here, and when I do, they're usually around $10.

... after I left the cash register, I felt as though I had just robbed that place.

Nice finds!  Were you allowed to open the plastic baggies before you bought them to see what was in there?

I am guessing he didn't need to open them to see what was inside  Wink

Nice finds, you need to make that a regular stop!

Indeed, all of their small items like toys, wires, AC adapters, games, ect, were in these flimsy clear baggies hung on a rack on the back wall. There were alot of random items in the baggies I scoped out, which is why I ended up with a bunch of '80's Apple disks mixed in with NES games. They had one bag with a Simon and Garfunkle 8-track, some Elvis 8-tracks,  some cassette tapes, and Mario/Duck Hunt but I turned it down.

Decent finds today at GameCrazy:

3 for $10 sale:
- Sonic the Hedgehog 3
- Golden Axe
- TMNT: Hyperstone Heist (boxed)

then I bought Streets of Rage for $4.99 because I very much enjoy that game.  Besides...i've ripped Gamecrazy off many a time as of late.
