Nice pickups Xevious!

I bought a cool bootleg NES game the other day, Super Mario World 9.  Unfortunately, it's not the NES port of SMW, but it's still a cool game.

Hanging around the GameCrazy tonight a guy walked in to trade games, the store guy wouldn't take a game and the guy said he could just throw it away, I said I'd take it if he didn't want the game so I got Rainbow Six 3 for Xbox for free.

Also, in the same store, I was looking at the used boxes of Call of Duty 2 for the 360 for the bonus map pack download card and found one. I asked the sales guy if I could have it and he said sure.

So, 2 scores for me...FREE!

Back after a while...

recent finds:

Shining Force CD: $5 (Book & Music Exchange's brain fart, my gain: traded towards Zelda: Twilight Princess GC for lack of Sega CD)
2x Sega CD RAM carts: $14 each (sent one with SFCD, one is for trade)
Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance (complete... and not fake this time >_> ): $12

Arrived in the mail from Amazon:

Phantasy Star Universe: $20

Here's to a good year for classic gaming.

PS2, because I likely won't have a 360 before Virtua Fighter 5 comes out, and because my computer sucks.

I got a really cool NES game in today, Super Mario Bros / Tetris / Nintendo World Cup 3-in-1 with box and manual!  The box is from Tetris with a sticker stating that Super Mario Bros and Nintendo World Cup are also included.

Thats a sweet variation.

I love variations. But hate them oh so much at the same time...

Is it PAL or NTSC?
Never know with you.

It's PAL, the SMB / Tetris / World Cup combo was only released in PAL with console bundles (cart + manual), except in Spain where one or two copies have surfaced with its own box (so it was definitely sold individually there, but probably at the very end of the NES era hence the rarity).  This copy was bought from Italy which is actually PAL-A, but the cart/box/manual have FRG code, which is PAL-B.  I've never seen this box 'variation' before, and I only paid around 15 euro shipped for it (it's in superb condition, too) Tongue
