Guitar Hero World Tour (X360) Mic Question

is there a way to turn down/off the game vocals in GHWT? all the manual says is you can adjust the mic settings with the left bumper and left trigger. I tried it and it doesn't seem to do anything.
I did not do the vocal tutorial. maybe it's in there.

Any luck there Den?
Sounds like you got the bundle for Christmas. How do you like it overall compared to Rock Band?

No luck yet.
I did get the bundle for Christmas. I've only played it a couple times so far. I think Rock Band makes a better party game, GHWT is more challenging so it could be frustrating to play with beginners. I do like the instrument s better than the Rock Band instruments.

Does your drum kit work ok? I've heard Activision had some problems with some of them.
