16- Children of Men
Children of Men is perhaps the bleakest futuristic movie imaginable.
You should see 1984 (after you read the book, of course
).
Also, I agree about Superbad. I always find something new to laugh at in that movie, no matter how many times I see it.

I'll definitely have to check out those movies. Anyway, here's the list.
1. Pan's Labyrinth
2. Oldboy
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Taxi Driver
5. A Clockwork Orange
6. American Beauty
7. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
8. City of God
9. The Dark Knight
10. Donnie Darko
11. Memento
12. The Departed
13. Dr. Strangelove
14. Grindhouse
15. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
16. Children of Men
17. Chinatown
18. Evil Dead II
19. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
20. Seven
Throwing Wall-E into the mix it would be between American Beauty and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Which version? The special edition is much different than the original. Special Edition actually makes an effort to explain what is going on.

Errr, not sure. It's from a collection called "The Quality Film Collection". (Which I like a lot)

You're safe. The special edition ruined the whole mystery of the movie.

^Well stated
I didn't really think the movie was bad, but it just seems like one of those movies that people think is brilliant just because it was really fucking weird.

I enjoyed Donnie Darko specifically because Donnie was a very fun character to analyze. I love how disturbed he is and how great it is trying to figure out just how screwed up he really is.
The other parts of the story are good, but I really really like how freaking depressed/confused/scared Donnie is the entire movie.

I saw children of men when it first came out. Wish I could get the book to see what changes were made between the two though.
